I think Detroit will be the only city that has its baseball, basketball, hockey, football, and soccer team playing in it’s downtown

@@devinbutler3271 there’s one in every crowd🙄 You’re correct, Southwest is not downtown, but that site is approximately a five minutes drive away from downtown, so is Eastern market, and Corktown. Excuse me for not saying the downtown area.

Bout time they're doing something with that eyesore. Might become a soccer fan if they pull this off.

That is so cool. I have never been to Detroit, but I have began to watch many Detroit F.C. highlights and have kind of decided they are a team I want to follow.... This is a big step and it will be cool to see the stadium when it's done... Prime location being so close to the railway station, and it would be cool to be able to ride a metro train to a game one day for local residents or visitors.

I hope Detroit City builds a stadium. They’ve proven they can draw good consistent crowds going all the way back to them playing at Cass Tech to Keyworth in Hamtramck

It's a USL team.

No new GM, Ford, Chrysler plant, that was a relief. Glad its going to be a football stadium. Detroit needs another sport complex.
