I'm such a dumbass. I never explored the zen place which is weird because I exhausted every other location in the game and rarely missed things like this. Yet I had no clue where to find this thing. It was ridiculous. I spent so much time thinking about how to placate Amanda whilst not lowering Conner's instability, I just rushed to find her every time I ended up here

Alex Benavidez Kinda late but i agree. I always explore everything as much as i can but for some stupid reason i missed that thing in Zen, which resulted in screwing everything up in the last moment. It really pissed me off so i restarted quickly and tried again until i found it.

Me too. My hatred for Amanda is something that words will never express. So every time I had to go to that Zen garden thing, I walked right to her to get out as soon as possible. But in all the other locations, I would explore every nook and cranny. Of course, the one location I zoom through is the one that is the most important.

I got hot sweats from this and quit the level before it saved when I saw my “stability” thing have a red arrow again I was like NOPE he’s just killed Marcus never been so stressed THANK GOD for this video

1) THANK YOU TheAlexEah for making this video! 2) For everyone else, if you're still having trouble, go up the snow bank and go to the bridge with the handrails. All the other bridges don't have it. This bridge also is right next to the Bonsai plant. 3) If you're playing an ending with Connor sharing stage with Markus, you will flash back to the stage once to show what Connor is doing in real life. I believe by the second time it flashes you back, that locks in the ending if you haven't found the exit.

Just an fyi, but the second flashback mentioned above does not void the chance to stop killing Marcus. It gives you a very short flashback the second time, after which you still will have time to find the exit. Probably once the third flashback kicks in, there’s no going back if you haven’t found the exit.

Connor didn’t expect himself to become leader. He was too stressed out. The deviant’s instincts forced him to commit suicide. And Amanda tried to resume control of him, so Connor had to shoot himself to break out. Worst end for the deviant Connor

I lost only simon you gotta use ralph as a decoy. I'm sorry but he is-WAS a side android. The others are much more important to me. But I also lost Josh, I lost Connor but used the other Conner and transferred data, I lost Hank but he wasn't that much of a problem to me. What pissed me off was the fact that I killed two guards at the checkpoint on the way to the bus stop when Kara, Alice, and Luther were trying to get to Canada. I thought they were on to me, damn, I was pretty pissed. He just wanted to give Alice his gloves...... I was also pissed about the options they left me with when I could go peaceful or war. I tried the peaceful approach for a bit but nothing was changing and that pissed me off so I'm like wtf ever. War. And I lost Josh and Simon. Wow this game makes me so freakin conflicted with it. Love it to death tho.

I was doing everything correctly and all but apparently me pressing triangle multiple times was not workind and then everyones ded in so mad

This really helped me. Yesterday, my first playthrough with Deviant Connor (I say this because the actual first playthrough Connor got deactivated), I was trying to find that hand thing and I became a machine again. I litterally was on the verge of crying because I was trying to perfect everything and give everyone good endings, but Connor shot Markus and I was also friends with Hank with my Connor. This morning I watched this, saw a comment talking about a handrail and I applied that in my playthrough. Connor remained Deviant because of this video and one comment. I thank you for this video! (also weird fact, as I was typing the first part of this comment, Connor's theme started playing on my downloaded playlist. Talk about great timing.)

Same here! I don’t know why but for some reason it was very hard to find for me even by pressing R2 nothing was visible at all. I refused to accept that i would lose both Markus and Connor because of something stupid like that so i restarted from that checkpoint. I heard playing on experienced difficulty affect what you can see when when pressing R2, maybe thats the case?

I found it once before for another ending, and I haven't managed to find the exit again, thanks for making this video.

I know this is an old video, but I decided to pick up the game again having struggled with this trophy. I can’t thank you enough for making this and pausing at excellent times so I knew where I was going. I completed it easily.

Ive still got marcus and it teleported me somewhere else after a lil flashback/ cutscene

Did anyone else have the game force close at this part and then upon rebooting the game the woman at the title screen basically plead with you to leave things as they are and not continue your game?

on my first playthrough, kara and alice die at the house they go to with luther in it and that mad scientist i managed to keep everyone else alive until i got the ending where connor shoots marcus because of amanda 💀 i was hoping i could keep everyone alive but oh well

I really hated doing it but it was very depressing to see how the future was looking. Lol. Change doesn't happen on it's own, change is MADE. Yea that was some bullshit, i refused to let Markus die here and ruin everything since i somehow would get a decent ending. I had to do it again by managing to restart before the game autosaves. R2 didn’t help much either.

I knew that this fucking stone will help me, but I did not remeber when it was because I lost orientation. Fucking snów was everywhere, I didn't saw shit. So I panicked and paused the game. Thanks God for this video. Well I reloaded game a few times through my first playing, I wanted to have a quite good ending, so yeah

my dialogue with amanda was different, I did not have the option to commit suicide, i only press the button in the zen garden and connor put his gun away, then there is a post-credit scene where he hugs with hank . I guess you get this one by having low software stability

@@uzairahmed4197 You don't make him conflict himself. Don't hesitate to kill, knock down anyone. Cause that goes against his programming so your basically making him question if his programming is actually right. I made him turn to a deviant, I caused him to question everything he had done. I made him not shoot the two eden club girls or anyone else besides the guards of the tower. I made him make Hank angry. I also let the other Conner kill Hank. Hank wasn't that big a deal, but now I realize I should probably save him lol.

If you fail finding the exit or you get the 2nd cut scene... Simply use a hack. Hack in a code... press PS4 button and close the Zen game... you will snap out for few seconds and reload yourself back in.

Press R2 and find the gold thing, can’t miss it

I found a separate one in the middle of a field somewhere that causes Connor to put the gun away and stare ominously at Markus, but he didn’t shoot himself and he ended up hugging Hank in an after-credits sequence, so I think he found one of the emergency exits? I don’t know.

I got this too. Marcus fought. They won. I found an exit (blue hand) He puts the gun away.

The moment this scene started I knew exactly which thing I was supposed to find and I'd also explored the Garden a couple of times before but I still didn't manage to reach it because I have the sense of direction of a goddamn refrigerator. You can legit turn me once in my own bedroom and I'll get confused about where the door is. So that blizzard had me literally running in a circle until it was too late :')

Lol you go across the bridge, right? then take a right, you should see the glowing blue object. Head toward and it will show a cutscene. End

maybe if you’re doing a game tutorial you should edit out the 4 times you hit the start menu? just a thought.

Huh… in my playthrough the emergency exit was right desd in front of me. I just held forward and it was there. Does the game change where you start based on your actions? Because I never had to search around for it.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT FOR A STORY ROUTE/ROUTES YOU MAY NOT HAVE SEEN YET: I was on my second playthrough, and got to the part where Markus is giving a speech and Connor is getting taken over. I was looking around, trying to find the stone (after having found it early in this second playthrough, I guessed it was the exit) and the first cutscene played, and I thought it was done for, so I exited to menu and tried again. I tried again, looking for the stone, but then the cutscene played again. I looked up this video, used the route he did (up the stairs and across the polygon bridge) and was stopped by the first cutscene halfway across the bridge. I was like "There's no way I could possibly make it over there in the time they give me, maybe there's something after this cutscene." I was right, and I made it to the stone in the time allotted and everyone survived (except Luther) in my second playthrough, and I got what was probably the best ending in-game, unless there's some sort of path where Kara, Alice, and Luther somehow make it across. Either way, I think Luther's sacrifice was very noble and cinematic and I think my ending is fine. Thanks a bunch for making this video man! I imagine many people missed the magic stone in all of their playthroughs.

I think there is a way to make Luther survive? If Markus in your play through is leading a peaceful protest and Kara, Alice and Luther are crossing the Canadian border inspection, you can choose ‘No Sacrifice’. The guard will look up at the screen seing peaceful protest and will allow Kara, Alice and Luther through unharmed. Either way it’s still a good ending nonetheless!

@@havesomesaltytea2230 I went absolute full peaceful with Markus's protest, so if that is a thing that's supposed to happen then it didn't work correctly. There's also a way where you steal a family's bus tickets and get across safely, but I was not all about that life, so I gave the tickets back.

Late reply but Connor has to be the only person left alive from Jericho (so Markus, North, Simon and Josh need to be dead). He kills himself because he knows it’s too dangerous to have him leading the androids.

If you knew your city was about to be invaded by a small army and you knew the USA Army was coming and defending it, would still want your family in the city? I mean, USA troops are here, we are safe. Nothing can kill us, not pieces of shrapnel or any stray bullets. Nah we good. And also you get to see the city- not country- liberated AFTER she makes it to the border. She saw the beginning of the assault when she was with Rose at her house. Well, that is my story anyways
