So true, on the cross, as Isaiah 53 says by his stripes we are healed. That said some people do need good biblical counseling to separate previous lies that they believed and replace them with truth and receive deliverance from the lies by repentance of having accepted them, renouncing (Confessing you want nothing to do with them now as you confess that sin to one another), and serious layers of prayers best done by someone with the gift of discernment if they were deep into stuff that they need deliverance prayer from and lots of intercession on their behalf.

Simple truth.

My oldest child is struggling with Gender Dysphoria. She believes she is male. She had sexual trauma at age 10, and didn’t tell us until she was 16. She has PSTD. She got into a group of friends that mostly are LBGQT, and also they had sexual trauma. Some are involved in drugs. She believes that I am a bigot, and don’t love and accept her. Please pray for them.

No one's forcing any child to transition (change gender) this subject is best left to the parents of the child with the thoughts that he or she may be transgender. It literally does not affect no one else's. There's no one forcing any child to change their gender. And if there if there is a case it would be few to none. At the end of the day trans-women and trans-men account for only 1 percent of the united States population. They are simply trying to figure out who they are. LET THEM?? You got the chance to figure out who you were. Life is a beautiful gift. Instead of spreading disinformation which leads to more hate and more crimes against transgender people. I'm not saying you have to agree with everything and everyone, but Everyone deserves kindness, you may not agree with them but let them figure out who they are.. we are all gods children. I'm the Christian mom of a child who struggled with gender dysphoria since childhood. She struggles with it to this day as an adult. Over the years I have struggled to find help in dealing with this issue in a loving faith based way that didn't damage our relationship with her or make her feel alienated from the church. I have a real hope and pray that the Lord will work with her heart like He did with Oli and heal her in soul and mind.

The issue is when people don't accept trans folks as they are. The suicidality in the whole trans community is about 40%. Studies show that when a trans person has one person in their lives that affirms their identity, that rate goes down significantly. Studies also show that transitional care reduces anxiety, depression and social distress. Here's a couple of those studies: - James, S., Herman, J., Rankin, S., Keisling, M., Mottet, L., & Anafi, M.A., 2016 - Gomez-Gil, et, al., 2012 Additionally, the study below found that less than 0.5% of the participants regretted their transitions or detransitioned. And among those who had an adverse reaction to their transition, most reported that it was due to external factors which had nothing to do with their identities. That study and another similar study are: - 3rd Biennal EPATH Conference Inside Matters. On Law, Ethics and Religion, 2019; Davies, McIntyre, Rypma, 2019 - Turban, Loo, Almazan, Keuroghlian, 2021 One last thing... the DSM 5 prescribes transitioning for trans people.

Commonly found in trans youth are symptoms and diagnosises of ADHD, Autism, depression, internet addiction, PTSD from sexual trauma or abuse or grooming and other mental disorders that can be treated with therapy. Many detransitioners have also marked a realization that they were simply LGB, and not actually trans. Another huge factor? Age. The age where most children today are "coming out" as trans is anywhere from 12 to 17, which correlates strongly with puberty. Historically a very uncomfortable process, especially for people who have mental issues like I mentioned earlier. I would like to know the average age of the participants in these studies, as many older trans people have commented on the 7-10 year mark after transitioning where underlying mental issues become a severe problem again, and suicide rates skyrocket. Along with that, what is the rate of loss of contact with participants? Am I saying that gender affirmative care is wrong? No. For people who genuinely have gender dysphoria, it can indeed be life saving. But there needs to be processes and safeguards that NEED to be put in place to catch the people simply suffering from other issues and looking for a way out, or people following a trend. In the same way that being depressed and anorexic, or being bipolar, or having ADHD, or having multiple personalities was the trend, being trans is the current trend and these kids need to be kept safe through it.

Wow! I literally remember praying for him that he'd become a Christian and that he wouldn't keep on with the damaging path he was taking. I'm so so happy that he actually did! Oli is very brave. I wish my nieces daughter would listen to these young people who have been through it. She's only 15 and her parents let her start taking male hormones. They have no religion and my heart aches for her. My niece won't listen to me but I remember when I was 15, it's such a challenging time for young people. No, tell your niece parents that your niece is in danger. Right now, you don't know about gender transition. This is so dangerous that it can mutilate or damage the person life. Also, ask your niece, just one simple question what is a man, ok, ask her like that, and also their parents, and if she able to answer it, ask her same way, but in a different manner, like are you a men?. You know about puberty blockers? Yes, puberty blockers can cause cancer and nerve/neuro damage on the back. Yes, it is true. I used to see videos of this man who changed his whole life to fit into a image that he wanted to obtain for his vein and ego. He always seemed so sad to me. He used to preach a message that you can be whoever you want and stay true to yourself all while trying to be someone else entirely. It was heartbreaking. I’m dealing with natural hormonal imbalance too, I suffer from migraines. In the meant time my husband has a relative transitioning from male to female and is also suffering from migraines too. I just don’t understand why someone would put their body through this is. this person has no way of supporting themselves and it’s always asking for money on Facebook, so who is going to look after these people down the road.

De Santos is bringing in the death sentence for anyone who mutilates or molests children.... and only 8 our of 12 jurors have to agree. The last bit is a bit iffy..... because reasonable doubt, but at this stage I wish we had kept our DP because then today we wouldn't have PRGs.

Wow. Thank you for this .... I too have been lost in the world for many years, unhappy, lost and hurting. Different ways than Oli, but just as harmful in their own ways. I was very hardened against Christianity for a long time. Ironically, all the evil happening in todays world has opened my eyes and heart up to Jesus. Praise God! I saw you, Ollie nearly 3 years ago and how you had surgery to look like a KPOP star. I immediately recognized you were sad and lost and I prayed for you. I am sure many did but to see that God answered my prayer and others is incredibly encouraging. I love you, brother! I will continue to pray for you!

I am not christian - I was raised in a cult - the similar one to your ex cult. Only ours did not allow blood transfusions - you understand which cult I am on about? Anyway, I have been praying recently for my daughter - my eldest who has been back and forth on this ideology for the past 8 years. She's 22 now. I worry greatly for her and don't want her going down this irreversible and destructive path. My kid as you are probably well aware, was led down the garden path by a cult ideology. I'm so worried about her. If she goes down this path, she effectively k!lls part of herself and that is difficult to contend with as a parent. She's disowned me right now because I refuse to affirm a fantasy. I have taken massive steps to ensure my other 3 kids do not fall into the same cult ideology. It seems to be working so far. I would take my youngest out of school if I could but I can't because I have had CPS in as a result of all of this with the eldest. Basically I have to do as CPS says or I lose my kids.

When I first became aware of Oli and his K-beauty antics prior to being saved, he came off as a very silly, vapid, non-contemplative person. But getting to see him clearly articulate all the moving parts of this issue is really encouraging, and shows that even people who seem hopelessly lost are capable of transformation.

Wow Oli is so awake. Great that he now recognizes that the surgeries were a form of self harm because he hated who he was after being bullied from a young age. You don’t need to be religious sister. Christ loves you just the same and if only you believe in Him, you can have the most wonderful and rewarding relationship with Him. Christianity is not just a religion. It’s journeying with the only God that can and has saved us.

You learn to love and follow his word because of who he is and because you learn that you are his son/daughter. Everyone has their struggles, and it may be a hard battle for someone, but I think it is encouraging that he chooses to find faith.

They say once you start down the surgery road it can be hard to stop, because these people are never satisfied. Faith might give him strength to recognise this.

He is acting, he does this for attention. He is riding off of the detransition wave for money. He used to say he was korean, and thats why he had surgery in the first place. He has been caught on video saying its all a lie, and he will do anything for media attention, and that he will throw any minority under the bus for it. He is not trans, never was, he admitted to it.

Completely agree. I sense the authenticity in his statements and demeanor, unlike some others out there who are grifting by pretending to be trans or, I believe in some cases, conservative. I never thought I'd see the day with this--my daughter showed his material to me a couple years ago and I honestly rolled my eyes. Praise Jesus for His amazing work in Oli.
