Wow. First off, great review here, Stan. I've been waiting for the FF Book to really take off; it's in a good place right now, but I'd like to see some villains besides Doom being featured. Your last point about the significance of 1000 issues deserves a video on its own. You made really good points. Personally I think Action Comics should keep its lead position, if only to honor 80 years worth of stories.

I try man, I really do. Sometimes life just puts you down and it takes time to get back up, but hopefully I can avoid that this time. Good to see you in the comments again.

Been back for about a month or so

1000 issues is as much of a marketing ploy as creating an event with 60 or so tie ins is. But you know what? Unlike all the tie ins, I’m actually going to purchase the 1000th issue.

Honestly I've been really slacking on Image Comics was a big fan in the 90s and Spawn was always one of my favorite reads. As for Sabrina surprisingly I really enjoyed the Netflix series and if the comic book has that same kind of dark mystery type of Storytelling I could see myself getting into that. As always great vid keep up the good work

DETECTIVE COMICS #1000th issue I’m beyond hyped for this issue.

Just thinking about Jim Lee doing the art you should get hyped

when it come down to business of comics there are so many marketing ploys. its just as bad as comic book plot devices. The question is can look beyond this and be smart about it and still go forward. I will be getting Detective 1000.. I am only get the covers I want. I do need have have them all. Also on my list Is Fantastic Four, Action comic superman, all the JLA stuff, Hulkverines and Superior spiderman.

Wait, so Detective Comics will actually surpass Action Comics? I’m more of a batman fan but that seriously doesn’t sit well with me. Action Comics should always be the leading title

In June 2019 Action Comics will be on issue #1012, while Detective will print two issues that month, bringing it to #1006. With that same pace for publication you would see Detective Comics match Action Comics in terms of issues published in December of this year.

Detail Comics Maybe they will make DC a monthly title later and make AC twice monthly?

That would depend on Bendis. If he stays on Action Comics I doubt it will come out twice a month. It's more likely they will cut down production on Tomasi's Detective run to once a month.

I'm sticking with it until the end, but Heroes In Crisis #7 could have been maybe 5 pages long and told the same story.
