Do you have any regrets since you made this purchase?
So what is your personal router? Or if you could pick one, which would it be? Flex, DeWalt, Makita, Milwaukee?

I use the Flex personally. I do still have two corded Bosch routers in the shop, but the Flex does everything we need so I keep it in the trailer. It's been a great tool so far.
Been thinking about this....

@@miillersconstruction i dont doubt it. Everything i have bought from Flex has been top notch....especially their batteries. Both stack as well as regular batteries.

@@unclefester4626did you get this router?
Would the router turn on if the spindle is in its locked position?

Yes & No. I tried it. It simply clicks and senses that it's locked and automatically shuts down completely. Great question!

@@miillersconstruction so it must be a safety feature since some of us might forget to unlock the spindle after changing or installing a bit. Nice to know that flex added this safety feature to this router, first time I’ve ever seen a router with a lockable spindle. I’ve got 2 dewalt 20v max brushless trim routers and these flex ones seem to be pretty similar with them (the depth adjustment wise). The only thing that sucks about those dewalt trim routers is that they don’t come with edge guides and I don’t even know if they make one for that trim router, anyways, Merry Christmas and have a great happy new year!

@@BigBaller.69 interesting about the DeWalt routers. Can't believe they don't come with the edge guides. Thanks for checking out the video.
So it's kind of late now to ask questions after I got 2 of them literally last week haven't used them yet, So is this a rebrand of the DeWalt. Tools that i am not 100% familiar with i never take to the job site immediately. My Milwaukee is Okay but i can't push it so i bought these solely because they are 1 1/2 hp which beat out the best, DeWalt, which i was going to get at 1 1/4 hp.

Nothing Flex produces is even remotely close to a DeWalt tool. Many people have asked me if flex is made by DeWalt. There is absolutely zero affiliation there. They are not made in the same manufacturing facility, the engineers for Flex are in Illinois. Nowhere near DeWalt headquarters.

I want so bad to go spend a few hours running these babies and organizing it but I think the wife has other plans. Happy Thanksgiving to and the family.

@@rickyperkins232 it's an 18 gauge nailer but yes I have it. I posted a KZread short using it yesterday. Man it's crazy powerful!
I am in the market for 3-4 cordless routers, Lowe's has a BOGO going on. Be honest are these routes worth the power, reliable and purchase?

I do not embellish my reviews with exaggerations or radical claims. I like this router. It's a good router. It does everything we need it to do. Will it replace a 3hp corded router in a shop that you're using for 6 hours a day? No, it's not rated to. Will it cut out window and door openings when framing with 7/16" OSB? Yes.
