The purpose of this channel is to provide viewers a detailed perspective of how we perform various tasks on our jobsites. We are experienced carpenters that do a little bit of everything including new construction, remodeling, siding, windows, doors, trim, painting and much more. My goal is to provide very specific details in our videos throughout various projects.

Pb blaster bro
The top cut unhinged the clamp for him 😅😅😅😅
Ever heard of WD 40
Now you have no support for the edge of the sheathing. It will now warp and sag between the truss tails. The correct way is to hold the sub-fascia down so it planes with the rafter top. Then the sheathing covers subfacia and you nail the sheathing edge to the sub fascia, having full support and no deflection. I’ve framed new houses for 30 years, never once seen anyone do it your way. Definitely not the industry standard. Please research before you share the incorrect info otherwise peeler will get a low quality product.
Don't use fine thread screws that's not the right screw for wood
The bonus for me is him promoting Flex tools at the end. What an absolute doofus this guy is. I’ve been in construction nearly 30 years. DONT DO ANYTHING HE DID HERE 😫🙄🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Just because you “can”, doesn’t mean you “should”
No nailer under the sheeting end between trusses???? Sounds good…….
I’ve got the Flex drywall screw gun and I love it it’s the best one I’ve owned
Told lies to be able to buy machinery
Someone remove this guy before he gives out anymore bad advise
A couple things. Is the lumber treated? If so then why paint. If paint is required then I has to be sealed first with a couple nice thick coats of an alkyd primer. Also the sharp corners need to be relieved some before painting.
Tip 1 ,,,get someone to do it 🤣🤣🤣😊
Wowwww, not like nail plates exist or anything😂😂
Seems like an unvented attic is the way to go
What's the R-Value of that foam board?
I hate to be the guy that has to replace drywall after you guys
Get this man an orange apron 🤦🏼♂️
Very clever but needs way more strength in the fixing of the mitre saw to the post that was risky .
Sharp
DO NOT USE GLUE ON DRYWALL. You're welcome.
Who in the hell would use staples to install sheathing on a roof?
I'm thinking your facia is going to separate itself from your tails doing it like that
So what happens with all of the condensation in this sealed area you just made? Mold?
Fine thread screws strip out of the wood too easy. Course thread tend to work!
Fine thread screws are for STEEL BATTENS , I also tend to use glue rated for plasterboard not expanding foam. If your screw gun isn't properly biting with the wood designated screws your probly not holding the gun straight or have a blunt tip. And if you need a lifter for a strip that size you aint no man! Idk if this video was supposed to be an informational video but the only thing i was informed about was that your a handyman
Tip number 1 add a bit of grease and your lift won’t screech 😂
And dont board like that, the middle will be flimsy and a nightmare to skim
Lol so proud of his mickey mouse job
Fine thread screws snap sooner in aged wood. Use course thread.
Tip: Wear a face mask around that dust
OR! read the drywall installation manual BEFORE you order the materials to start the job!
No fine thread is for metal
I thought this was a voice over for like the first 10 seconds lol
Chalk line, one more nail on bottom
That nice nailer, you can afford one more nail in the bottom. Keep working
Too bad you wasted all that lovely labor on the wafer board!
NO
"Don't worry we've had it for a long time." 😂
Ummm nope. 😂
How the hell is Pink Panther still popping up here and there?
Damn near machine screws?
I like using coarse thread or HiLo, never fine thread for wood
Not flush. But more important it not the right way to do that
Totally useless.
This guy has no clue!
I D I O T........
Someone didn’t think this plan through very well!
Just leave it to the Mexicans
