DETAILED REVIEW OF THE REEBOK COURT VICTORY PUMP

Today we are looking at one of one of my all time tennis sneakers, the Reebok Court Victory Pump. This retro comes to us 35 years after the amazing Roland Garros victory of Michael Chang, who of course was wearing this sneaker.

Xmas 90', I was 12 and my brother and I woke up to a pair of these each, under the tree from old St Nick. Now the kicker was that these kicks hadn't been released yet in Sydney, Australia, (where we are from.) So for the next 6 months or so, Me and the big bro were rockin' around in our Reebok Pumps that NO-ONE, (besides us,) in Australia had or would be getting any time in the near future....We thought we were KING SHIT. Also.....Reebok Pumps retailed here for $219 in 1991, that was CRAZY money for sneakers in those days!! So we never thought in a MILLION years, we'd wake up to Pumps under the tree Xmas morning!!!! But Mum n Dads close friends went to the U.S on holidays and got us a pair each for half the price. Great memory.... thanx Reebok!!!

Great review. Love that you called out these folks that claim the pump blather doesn’t work 😂

I bought the green ones as soon as they were available in the U.S. a few weeks back. Had no idea that the blue ones had released elsewhere. Thinking of picking up a pair on ebay and returning the greens. Can’t decide. Fantastic review!! New fan here for sure.

Another solid out-of-the-box upload. Excellent. The tennis unboxings are always cool knowing the history of early hooping shoes being modified tennis joints. ✌🏽💙👟

After watching this video more times than i know while i waited for my victory to come in. I came back to your video because it finally came in today. Infact, im looking at it right now. I have a message for reebok. Please tell reebok, dont ever insult and disappoint their customers ever again. If you are doing something, do it right. 1. The pump does work but you have to hold it in a particular way and pump it a million times. 2. The hexalite. Lets be honest, we all know that hexalite is a gimmick but atleast we was made to feellikee it was something real. But what is this? Reebok, are you telling me you can't do the wrong thing right? That you have to half ass such an iconic shoe? This is not someone trying to bootleg your products, this isnt reerock or Beebuck. This is reebok, not being able to do a proper retro of their own products. Either put up or shut up and give the people what we want or give us nothing at all.

Very nice presentation Mike. A suggested video that I really enjoyed. I liked the explanations you've made and the technical features that it has as a tennis shoe. I’ d also say that there is an outer arch as well since it provides extra stability. I like your enthusiasm!! I've bought these as well (EU) and they are awesome. I've also made a quick video too about these comparing them to the original pair and the 2010 retro, check it out. Wearing the originals and the 2024 edition I ‘d say there isn’t much difference. The pump is working. It’s the upper tongue material I showed in my video that I am concerned about… I hope that It won’t crack in 3-4 years. I’ve had the OG’s and pumped them for years and its is still in perfect condition. Anyhow, since you are a tennis player you can check also the history of the shoe by the designer of the shoe at 42 min: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qaCEydqxqLHAl6g.html
