    A correction: When I say in the video that the lift levels good, I am referring to what is good within the world of Lester and ThamesValley. This is not good compared to a real logic such as Kone LCE or Schindler Miconic.

    With disabled mode, i would have thought that it would have been designed so that you use the button to select the floor, not touching the screen

  • @benolifts

    @benolifts

    2 жыл бұрын

    A blind person might struggle to feel where the screen is as it is a flat surface. Disabled mode on all other destination systems tell the user to press button again when the floor is announced. As this system tells the user to touch the screen to increment the floor, and as the response is so laggy, the time the system responds the user may have already touch the screen again and it will have now gone past their floor.

    @@benolifts i did come across a video which showed a destination dispatch system where disabled/accessibility mode worked slightly differently to that, but it still used the button as the means of the user selecting their floor “Press the button to increment floor numbers, hold the button to confirm destination” I can’t remember exactly what it said, but i think that is close to what it said

    @@LachieVidsTransportVlogs they look atrociously boring and ugly. when arriving to the top floor it flashes the going down arrow even if the lift will stay there. that makes kleemann a generic company. because a kleemann uses generic doors, buttons (schaefer, though not all models) generic logic and generic indicator. rubbish and boring. someone who was installing a kleemann said that “kone and schindler are dust compared to kleemann) when kone is full intelligent and SOME kleemanns are blind vf? same for schindler
