She is plaiting exactly how its supposed to be. Neat but not tight! Tight braids causes scalp problems and hair loss like alopecia and disappearing hair lines. Nobody should be having a free face lift at the same time as having their hair plait! Or be needing to take pain relief!

I love your work! I was wondering what type of gel would you recommend for a mixed persons hair? I hope that doesn't offended anyone the way that I asked but i find that nothing really hold well and it curls the hair up

Royale Jacobs she uses the shine and jam yellow top often. It will curl up any texture. So the sleeker the hair the less product I’d use.

Start out with short nails as they grow out you'll get use to them. And you'll get use to braiding with them.When they get too long file them down especially the ones you braid with.
