You know, seeing this version of Stantley sing the F.U.N. song makes me headcanon that D-Sides Stanley, rather than being a failure who breaks everything he touches, is instead a successful comedian who SpongeBob looked up to and was even the one who taught him the F.U.N. song. His episode would be about him trying to find a new line of work believing he's lost his touch looking to SpongeBob for advice, but not succeeding very well. He would later come to recognize what he's truly passionate about and come up with new ideas for jokes based on his experiences in Bikini Bottom.

@@double-aa-entertainment Yeah, but it's just not D Sides if there's no redesign. And Oswald gets a pass because not much changes need to be made when you're working with monochrome and a simplistic design to begin with.

And I looked at Oswald's official D Side design on the D Sides funkipedia which proves my exact point. He's monochrome just like in the mod, with his only change being that his pants have an overall on them. Maybe if he were in color, they'd be purple instead of blue and he'd have a different fur color or something.
