IKR! The only thing holding them back from beating Twitch is the UI. If they were to just add a better and more accessible live stream menu then Twitch would straight up die. Shorts is decent but if they were to tackle the bots then I'm sure more people would be inclined to switch from TikTok and Reels.

Honestly this is way better than you trying to "fix" everything I like about the apps I use.

He couldn’t improve the UI, but he needed a video.

I love it, seriously, also because comic sans is my favorite font, and I enjoy chaos

this is probably his best looking redesign yet

How about the quality selector buried 3 clicks deep, inside an absolutely tiny settings button. Or not being able to scroll or scrub through videos while typing comments, or comments sometimes showing on the full screen video on landscape mode, but sometimes not. Or how about the quick tap to rewind not being adjustable, and sometimes going minutes back to the previous section marker instead and scrubbing doesn't help since the bar also snaps to section markers. Or how about showing the endscreen "watch more" video cards over the content when I don't care about them, and then hiding them inmediately after the video ends when I do care about them. Or how about

It's nice until you pick a non standard dpi for your phone, then the layouts break since they weren't created with any consideration for responsiveness, unlike the old ui. Buttons that used to fit on a small screen now overflow the most useful buttons in favor for the donate button that gives Google a big cut(dark pattern). Automatically drops the score to no higher that 60/100...

This just seems like something in the options menu, aka it looks good still
