just need to say something. I normally dont watch these streams live but on the next day in the morning. Thank you. Very new to digitakt and am trying to learn how to better use it. It is DAUNTING, Hearing how awesome you and red means recording are able to get these boxes to do basically everything besides slice up a warm bun! I totally am thankful for your vids.

I love the chord trick. I was doing something similar with the Roland Aira MX-1 by playing a chord and muting certain steps.

I like the way you started with a kick here or there, in line with your mood. By the end it was full dance floor. Super informative. Nice.

I really enjoyed this stream. It's funny to see where you took this vs where I would have, which is the great thing about music!

Absolutely no offense or by any means criticism! 🙂 Just wanted to point out how much more I’ve enjoyed this one 🙌🏻 😎 The demonstrated concepts are more easily to transfer to other samplers and devices, too. Also made me considering becoming a Patreon, because it shows that you’re not ‘just’ the OctaWizard 😉👍🏻

Oh wow what a great technique, sampling synth arpeggios triggered by the midi machine in the Syntakt. Gotta try that with my Syntakt + Minifreak soon. The Syntakt triggering is great cos it eliminates the manual arp start and always gives the same velocity. Thanks 🙂

17:22 🤣😂🤣😂 I feel seen! omg that was hilarious! BUT IT'S AN AMAZING SALE! I've been binging M8 videos hard since I snagged the pre-order but this was a great sidebar... As much as I love the DT, I am constantly blown away by the M8 capabilities (and coming from a tracker background of ages ago, it looks like it's going to be fun getting back into it). What I am really looking forward to which I always missed on the DT was the ability to give chance to a command without needing to sacrifice a whole step (as on the DT with parameter locks). I wish the DT had multiple lanes for parameter locks.

I made it 10 minutes into this video before I just went and got my own digitakt

A DAW is great but this is a great example of when hardware wins

Super nice.

Digitakt LFO phase doesn't take effect until you stop and restart. Not sure if bug or not, but I wish it would take effect in real time.

The 4 bar limit work around looks to be not too bad. Just wish it had full fat 8 bar capability.

You can use an analog heat to trigger the ot sampler :P

struggle with some things who make me crazy. this file management from elektron...grrrr just wanna copy a kit from one project into the next. ok it works, but the pattern is missing and the sounds/samples aswell. just read it in my project folder that the kit is inside. just wanna prepare something like pattern 1-4 is one song.... pattern 4-8 another song (always 4 patterns per song---beginning, build, peak, end)... same with my other maschines and at the end i can create a little live session. but how can i grab now my pattern/kits from one project into the final project ??? 😕

What is the next Elektron release going to be? I am eagerly awaiting some sort of announcement

This question is for anyone, what note do you sample when sampling chords or synths? Or like when you sample a single key, what note do you sample, middle C?

Best to sample a C note/chord so you can transpose it easily
