The clip was Destiny tricking his son to Alt+F4 after his son tried to trick Destiny into doing it, not Destiny pushing his son off a videogame cliff. However, Destiny has tricked Mouton into jumping off a videogame cliff before, meaning there's a chance this guy confused MrMouton with, as he said, a ten year old child, making him automatically based.

He decided to broaden his content and made some stuff on Monster Hunter which I wasn’t too interested in, but then he decided to make political content and me being right leaning, I obviously disagreed with his leftist ideas, but that’s not what bothered me. What pissed me off is on his vaccine video, I just said my take on the vaccine is that you should get it if you want to. If you don’t then that’s fine too and he decided to call me anti-vax and then a coward for not “admitting” that I am one. I’m not vaccinated for COVID-19, but I’m pro-vax in general. I think everyone is allowed to make their own conscience decision. It just sucks to see a guy who you supported and respected have such a downfall.

Of all the bad takes feminists make, the one where women being assertive and wise in sexual relations is held in contempt because it's the men who should change their behaviour, has to be the worst. Until the day when _all men_ learn to behave appropriately, it makes perfect sense for women to empower themselves to remain as safe possible. The lack of insight in not being able to grasp this concept is stunning. This fool would happily tell women who are scared of asserting themselves to go for it and fuck strangers because the world _should_ be a better place. My lord what idiocy.

The one thing Destiny has over literally any other person in Twitch politics is being succinct and to the point. Also, if we grant him that Destiny "speaks a lot but says nothing" - than in that case I actually prefer that he speaks quickly. Imagine listening to someone who not only "speaks a lot and says nothing", but also does it incredibly slowly. That sounds like literal torture.

That's not why destiny fans are a circle jerk, they're a circle jerk because they agree with the party position no matter what. It's not that they're circle jerking destiny, it's that they circle jerk their political orthodoxy. Destiny simply aligns with that orthodoxy a lot of the time, regardless of how poorly he actually argues it, thus he gets their support. It's why destiny fans to this day still say destiny beat naked ape on their debate, when any third party could clearly see that destiny was out of his depth. It has nothing to do with it being destiny making the shit argument, and everything to do with the shit argument aligning with their political bias. It's also why them turn on him in a second if he disagrees with the party's orthodoxy. That's where the circle jerking, sycophantic aspect comes from. It's a circle jerk of intersectionalism, not a circle jerk of destiny. Destiny is the vehicle, not the road. Destiny is a shit debater, though. He gish gallops like a mother fucker, he also moves the goal post constantly if he feels he's losing at all on a point. Though his worst crime when it comes to debate is his obsession with appealing to authority. Every time he encounters someone who knows more than him he falls back to appeals to authority and consensus.

He also kept running back to the word 'rape', which says a lot. If you have a really specific term for what actually happened, which is 'stealthing', why would you retreat to a more general term? The only reason you'd want to do this, is because the more general word 'rape' includes a whole spectrum of different specific acts with different intensities. Stealthing is probably way at the bottom there. So when you use the more general word 'rape', you suddenly make the thing that actually happened way worse than it actually was. That's gaslighting at its worst and it's a classic example of acting in bad faith.

Additionally, Destiny is saying that not all agency should be placed on the man during a sexual encounter. The woman does have some power to control the sexual encounter whether that be before or during it. Destiny thinks it sucks that social media writes off any attempts at giving the woman pointers for better utilizing their agency (they write it off as victim blaming). There is a difference between victim blaming and victim criticism. The former is only meant to hurt and push blame upon the victim. The latter is meant to help the victim and those reading to better prepare/prevent becoming a victim.

56:06 - my heart sunk, holy shit I cannot believe what this guy just said that. I was on the fence with Destiny, I understood where his point was coming from, but still thought it was a bit wild to play the "blame the victim" card. However, after the guy on the right starting saying that women should just basically "lay there at take it", was the nail in the coffin for me and his arguments. As a guy, the level of fear that I felt when he said that was horrible. NO ONE should lay there and be traumatized, hence why I understood where Destiny was coming from at first. That is absolutely terrifying that dude on the right would even say that casually. It is simply anti-progressive and takes away all the power from women to tell them to simply become victims of SA (let alone r*pe). I am terrified, disgusted and appalled. Destiny is being critical, but he is right. Women need to be be stern with their boundaries and be careful with who they hook up with, as well as men.

The saddest part of this encounter was the other dude's chat. They all were outraged when Destiny said the word retarded as if he were using it as a pejorative. The word has a definition and he was using it medically, but they treated it like a cancer they treated it like the "N" word as if it can never be said, but it has an actual use and he was using it correctly. Every time he made an analogy they just assumed Destiny was racist b/c he had black people in his example even though his example was that we can't allow people to use trauma as an excuse to be racist. He literally was saying it isn't ok to be racist, but b/c he said "black people" they called him a racist. It's some of the most insane shit I've seen from a chat group. That dude's chatters are the definition of echo chamber, they even literally echoed the words w/o actually understanding the meaning or the way they were used, it was like listening to parrots. A word should not make your brain shut down, nor should the mere utterance of a word make you feel a certain way. It is a word. There is NO DOUBT that people have really rough relationships with words because of past experiences, but if you find yourself as one of those people and it affects you so negatively to merely hear a word being said, I would suggest seeking help to get over that fear. I didn’t feel like Destiny was criticizing her or saying it was her fault. I thought it was just good advice for the future. For whatever reason, she keeps running into creeps & she’s been taken advantage of multiple times. If she can’t stand up for her boundaries, which is really important when engaging in casual sex, she should perhaps take a step back from that activity until she can handle those situations. We all should mitigate risk & harm to ourselves as much as we can. It’s not going to guarantee you’ll always be safe, but it cuts the chances down of getting hurt. I live in the sticks, we’ve got coyotes. They are pretty nocturnal around here so because I don’t want to get attacked, I don’t go walking out in the woods at night. If I went out in the woods 3 times and each time I was attacked and didn’t do anything to defend myself, I would expect someone to say don’t go in the woods at night. 🤷🏼‍♀️

But saying women who can’t defend themselves when being raped shouldn’t have casual sex is just regular everyday-brand scumbag? Lol

@@rogerbriggs8102 Since you also can't seem to understand, I'll restate this nice and slow for you. "If you cannot state your boundaries during a sexual encounter, you should not be having casual sex." This has nothing to do with "can defend themselves" as much as you want to agree with that strawman.

@@kyle8971 whatever charitable reading you want to give to the phrasing has nothing to do with my point, which was that Destiny’s response is scummy. Retort that premise.

this was wonderful. this guy tells you that you interrupted him twice as much and then later when you press him on it, he suddenly does not know and cant even guess as to who did it more. not to mention this guy is on a list of probably hundreds of people that destiny debated where they cant answer a simple question because they know that the question is presented so that their views can be set in stone and destiny can move on but they want to make him look bad on the point so they refuse to answer. Im a new viewer so i just unloaded alot lol. Thanks for the content Destiny.

PS, just got to the end and now this guy is saying that destiny was the one that led the debate back to the specific person even though I remember multiple times where he was the one that led the topic back to that and throughout the entire argument destiny for the most part i think is talking about society and then he only switches the topic when the other guy was. sorry if I state the obvious, i just need to get my energy out lol.
