Thanks Sue, I'd wanted one of these old printers trays for so long, it's nice not to have all my favourite finds just stuck in a box and more, plenty of room for lots more! 😀

Nice finds but I'd have to be with Stu on this one. I'm getting too old for the mud digging myself but there are almost always cool things to find.

Some lovely finds! Just got back from a few days close by (in Allhallows), would be great to explore there, but I don’t think the puppy would have allowed me!

_Wonkies,_ ha! love it! Who'd have thought that you would get clay pipes from Cork washing up in the Medway! Sorry for not being 'in the know' but what are those little square what-nots from the Victorian age, I've got absolutely no idea? Thanks for the trip out … looking forward to more.

There is something quite fascinating about the wonkies! 😄 It's amazing where clay pipes was up from but the Irish ones are quite common and likely came from Irish men working along the Thames back then other than actually travelling all the way from Ireland. The little cubes are know by various different names such as Allygbs or Knuckles, I believe they were a game where you had to throw a bunch up and try to catch as many as you can.. that's why they are a common find. Thanks for watching 👍😊

@@ExploringWithEmAndStu Seriously, I can be so dense sometimes! Of course the clay pipes would've come with the workers as opposed to moving all the way from Cork (which is just up the road from where I live) on the tides. Thanks for explaining about the cubes … you live and learn. Cheers!

when biden was here he was getting ferried about in two large helicopters with a white stripe on them, escorted by those 4 and sometimes a small police helicopter, they kept going back and fourth between central london, the RAF base and god knows where, they were driving me mad flying overhead at least 4 times a day until he left.

It's not made too much difference with where they've put the rocks but the fact the diggers have crushed everything even more and covered it all in mud which is a shame but the erosion was quite bad so understandable they needed to do something about it..
