Sure wish I would've found your videos sooner. I wasted a lot of time getting no where. Learning a lot from you. Thank you.
Thanks Jim keep them coming, learned a lot about my favorite 3d cad program. Using inches even thought the program is set to mm Moving the grid, and the full pull tool. plus everything else
Thanks Jim, this helped me solve a problem creating an end cap where the internal doming was diferent to the external using the cutting tool and full pull.
Thankyou sir. Learning a lot from your video tuts. Keep them coming.

Thank you for your glowing testimonial of my demo.
Thanks Jim perfect
Thank you very much!.
That was helpful, thank you.
I'm machining up a project I've been modeling for a few months today. Your videos really helped to get me onto my feet with the program. I'm really enjoying designspark now. It's missing a few things, but they can be worked around. Very powerful stuff. By the way, instead of drawing a second triangle, if you draw a line and then right click it, there is an option to use that line as a mirror line.

Great video Jim. If you want to change the default units from metric to imperial you can do it from DesignSpark Options --》Units

Thanks but I did know about that. It's just that sometimes I can't be bothered to do the conversion in my head. It's just that it is useful to know that even though you are working in mm, you can enter a value in inches by simply adding 'in' after the value. The converse is true also using 'mm' after the value.

@@JimTaylor42 Same can be said for working in Meters when working with large parts or components.
Sir could you please make a matching bolt & nut video. I have a lot of trouble getting the dimensions to match up or work out right for 3D printing. By the way your videos are excellent thank you!
Hi Jim, thanks for your great tutorial, I am a total newbie, the option for Hexagon is not available under Sketch in my Designspark, i looked around in settings but cannot find where it can be enabled

The hexagon / polygon was overlooked (I think) when v5 came out originally. It is certainly implemented in v5 now as I am (as I type this) looking at it. Try updating your copy of v5 DSM.
why did you not change the units preferences to Imperial?
Hi Jim can you do a Video on Letters like C & R thanks rgds David
