Thank you for this simple but informative video. I had bought designrr a while ago but am just getting around to using it. When I logged in initially I thought, OMG what do I need to learn. I thought this was going to be easy ( lol ) I didn't have much time to play around so I just logged off. Then I found your video, which highlighted all the "basics" I need to know to get started. Thank you very much for your time. You saved me a lot of frustration trying to figure out the basic tools myself!!!

Hi Aurelius - how about a follow up on how to make chapter and sub-chapters in the table of contents so readers can click through to the appropriate sections in the e-book. Having that functionality is what will differentiate e-books made with Designerr.

What was shared in the video is from the $27 lifetime option, not Pro version. There are plenty of other features that Pro offers but it isn't necessary to make ebooks.

Hi Steve. Please watch from 02:15 as that shows the upload options. You'll also see the ebook templates you get. With the upgraded plans, you get more templates and options for uploading different types of files and documents. The $99 /month plan offers 8 transcription hours per month. So it can convert for example your audio into texts then apply that to your ebook.

If you purchase the one time payment option, you get access to the standard options. There's no ongoing fee. You can get the one time payment option here aurelius.link/designrr (affiliate link). The monthly plans are relatively new. I think that's the way they want to move forward as opposed to a one time fee. So i'm not sure how long the one time fee will lasts.

By the way, based on Canva's help doc, it supports up to 100 pages. If you need more pages, create a new design, save both and use a file merger tool.

I am looking for a program that will allow users to read my book as if they are actually reading a book. I want them to be able to swipe the page, not scroll to the next page. You could have made this in Canva for free.

Hi Jasmine. I believe that would be something like a flip book or slide creator. Yes, you could also use Canva, though Canva has a limit of 100 pages max. So if your ebook exceeds that, you have to create two separate Canva documents and combine the two using a file merging tool which Canva does not offer.

This is a very frustrating program IMO. It would be helpful if it operated like most word processing aps but it's almost like having to relearn basics all over again. Not an intuitive program. Perhaps, to be fair, I'm just not getting it.

Well video does not address main issue. You pay 27 , get content imported from word which changes layout and is completely not readable! Each line is in sort of paragraphs and impossible to put it all in format easy to read. Also letters in word as disorganised too. One big mess not easy book creation

This app promotes plagiarism from what I've seen of their adverts. Seems like a can of worms for copyright infringement.

Hmm perhaps a bit of clarification. Designrr allows you to import your existing blog posts, Word doc, and other sources and turn it into an ebook. You enter in your URL and it will import to Designrr. It makes the process easier. The obvious is making sure you own the content.

So you steal content and make ebooks ? Is there no copyright law ?? wtf is going on ?

I think you misunderstood and I perhaps should have made it more clear in my video. To clarify, Designrr allows you to enter your blog URL so that you can convert your blog articles into an eBook form.
