Love the handmade Christmas ideas the best. I did a faux topiary in a black urn for the kitchen , which sounds trendy. But I surrounded the base with spanish moss and faux clementines studded with real cloves. Now it looks cozy and homey too! And I always, always have my three little statues... Joseph standing with his staff and lantern, Mary kneeling, and of course Baby Jesus in the little hay and wood cradle. I have never had any other pieces. This has just always spoken to me, and I am now 72!

I love fresh where possible , with touches of nostalgia. This style is a great extension of the outdoor gardens, particularly when we gardeners can only look at snow for so many months , and have to wait until May to start planting again! ❄️🇨🇦

Love the mantle ideas! I finished decorating the end of October as I start in September so watching for ideas next year! Still have to do my porch!
