I love this! I had a set very similar to the black and white one when I was about 15. I'm 67 now, so it's been awhile, but I still remember how much I loved that set! They look great on you. God Bless all!!!!!

happily, the 80's are now coming in fashion again! I am 56 and I feel really at home once more. so start digging around for those old shoulder-pads!

I have a sleeveless maxi dress that I don't wear anymore because it's too long without shoes! I'm using this idea to make me a matching lounge set!

The plaid ones remind me of the "dress yoga pants" that are $100+ dollars. So cute and could totally be made work-appropriate with the right shoe and top.

I love how you include real sewing obstacles and how to work around them.

A lot of the sewing/diy personalities I follow have done fun styling videos using all of their "me-made" wardrobe pieces. I think it would be really fun if you did one! You've made so much cool stuff over the last few years, you could create a loads of great looks from just your own pieces!

Hi Orly, I'm a new subscriber! I absolutely love your videos. The first video I watched was your embellished maxi skirts at the beginning of January and I have to confess I binge watched all the videos that I hadn't seen to catch up. I started sewing again after not doing it for a number of years and after coming across your videos, they've inspired me to get creative again with material. Paper, ink and paint is normally my creative choice, so I wanted to thank you for getting me inspired and hooked on to sewing again. I can't wait to see what you post next. X

I made one! I bought the fabric years ago but did not know wat to do with it. the blue camouflage jogging-fabric really isn't my thing! You inspired me to just wing it and make a sweatpants and cropped shirt. It took me 1.5 hours and I am wearing the suit all the time. I love it and mu husband told me it makes me look sexy! Orly, you are an inspiration. I think it is too bad I can' t share the results with you. would be great to have one vid. showing all the things you have inspired us to make, all over the wordl.

Another great video creation Orly. If they were for sale it's definitely something I would purchase and wear. They look that good. One drawback, the leopard/Cheata print pant I would zig-zag the bottom rather than hemming. Overall great snd detail instruction as well as the video. 🤗😘

being curvy is the reason I started making my own clothes, way back in the 80's. in Europe it is difficult to buy anuthing that looks good in XL or XXL (and our XL is way smaller than the American XL) plus size usually means that one is directed tot the burlap-sack A-symetrical section of the shop.

Bang on!!! AGAIN!! Looks so easy because you explained it soooo well!. And side note.. Your eyebrows looked killer, perfect!!!!

I just did that with an worn out pair of training pants. I loved them so much, because they were super comfortable, but weren't completely shapeless and unflattering. I tried in vain, to find new ones, I liked as much, but they either didn't fit as well in the hip/crotch area or were to short for my long legs. So I bit the bullet and made my own, although it cost me more in materials, than most new ones would (sigh, the plight of every diy'er, am I right?). Super happy with the result and 10/10 recommend the process 👍

@@catyfaurie9446 Damn right! 😆 That's why I usually don't bother with sewing casual clothes from scratch, but since everything is closed here and I didn't have much luck with online shopping, I had to finally bite the bullet! Well, at least it's lovely, thick winter sweat, which isn't easy to find in ready made clothing.

Loved this one!! I did the same thing a few months back but with the most beautiful bottle green velvet!! Now I have a stunning turtleneck and matching flowy trousers 😍😍 that plaid top you made is SO CUTE!! And you drafted it on the fly!! ❤️❤️
