Today we're going to be stamping with bleach, stenciling with bleach, writing with it, doing ombré bleach, reverse tie dye bleach -- - so many ways you can transform home decor or clothing! A lot of you have been asking for some more reverse tie-dye ideas as well, so here they are. These hacks and techniques are super easy and fun to do. It's also totally customizable, so you can do whatever designs you want to refashion your old t-shirts, pillow cases, jackets, you name it, into something new, fun and fresh for summer 2021! All of these ideas are quick and easy ways to upcycle your old clothing into something you'll want to wear out all summer long.
For the stencil, I ended up using my Cricut to create my own custom stencil I liked a little better than the one I got on Amazon. I used a black 100% cotton t-shirt, the higher the cotton value, the more the color is going to come out. I used the bleach gel and mixed some corn starch in to create more of a paste to create cleaner lines. Leave the stencil on and let the color develop, then touch up later if you notice any gaps.
TIP from a few viewers :If you dip your bleached shirt into a plastic container of water with 1 cup of peroxide, itll neutralize the bleach. Let it soak for 30 mins

I accidentally got bleach on a t-shirt. I was so sad I thought I’d ruined my t-shirt then I remembered you had done a bleaching technique video the week before. I tried it on my “ruined” tee-shirt lol and it worked!! Everyone loved it! It really stood out, it’s unique and it’s my own creation. I was So proud of myself lol Thanks 🤗👌🏽👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽

My boyfriend has done a couple of these bleach t-shirts and he loves it. He usually does the stencil or the bleach blocking technique. He can't stop doing them. He loves to make them and gift it to his friends. This is such an awesome DIY

yay, playing with bleach is my fave trick for removing stains from my fave clothes. Sewing on patches used to be my go-to. lol
❤️ the hombre jeans and jacket. Lately dislike my denim on denim even with layering and scarves. This a perfect solution. You are Brilliant, as usual!

I’m going to try with a paint pen I just ordered on the border of some pillowcases that I accidentally already bleached I have a habit of doing that accidentally in the wash my husband makes fun of me LOL because I like things extra clean and I have bleached white sheets that have colorful borders Have accidentally tie-dyed things but not in a cool way so maybe I can fix them up a little bit with these techniques so they look intentional!! 🦋☀️🦋☀️🦋

I like to use thick lace or a doily as a stencil , you can even sometimes find plastic lace placemats at the dollar store which work perfectly and the bleach can't soak through them.. Then spray lightly with bleach/water mixture and you get the full lace pattern on your garment.
I ❤❤❤ the Adidas shirt and the one after that but not really the feathered one unless it was maybe done to a solid colored shirt. I love the ombre technique, and the blocking one. So very cool!! Can't wait to try some things!

I want those ombré jeans! You could do that ombré tie dye on them like you did the other week. Ooh…bleach stencil over tie dye. MrTieDye here on KZread said to make a mix of 9 parts water to one part hydrogen peroxide. After you rinse your piece put it in the peroxide mixture. It will neutralize the bleach and stop it from eating away at your clothes. He said make sure to rinse first so your mixture doesn’t have to work so hard and you can use it multiple times.

These are so many great ideas. I’ve made custom T-shirts for my Girl Guides for a big interprovincial camp inexpensively using the watered down bleach, a spray bottle and a freezer paper stencil I made on my Cricut. I really like the dyeing over top of the bleaching.

Rewatching this. That chain shirt is so sick w the black sleeves showing. & those jeans. I had this sick bleached Jean jacket that I left on a train to NYC one night I was very upset.
