Note: In this calculation there is a small correction , Volume = 600 instead of 1200..

Sir depth for design of sedimentation tank is generally taken as 3-6 m .

Dear friend, As per CPHEEO manual, for PST detection period of 1.65-4 hrs is adopted and for SST Detection period of 2.2-4.2 hrs is adopted.

Depth for PST and SST is 2.4-4.2 metres as per CPHEEO manual.
Sir you took L/B ratio in a range of 1.5 - 7.5 can u give me any refrence please I mean any IS code with clause number and all please sir it is urgent

We can't assume all think..we cam assume 1-2 things and we can take check. If checks are correct then our assumptions are right.

What is the permissible value of length of sedimentation?

Yes my friend, It is 600 M3, by mistake I have calculated it, I have also mentioned that mistake in the description of the video. Rest all steps are correct.

But avg discharge mei 1.8 se na multiply krte hai apne 0.8 se kyu kiya?? Qmax to 1.8 times qavg hoga na
