How many of us watching Chad's latest video would love to be out alone, exploring that beautiful scenery in his beautiful camper/van? And to ride out a storm in the middle of nowhere eating a great, hearty, meal? Pure awesomeness. Chad, it's time for one of your epic camping in a Van during a blizzard video's while making a fabulous meal! Love those video's. Great job as always with the utilization of the drone to capture the scenery. Beautifully filmed!

I would have loved to been there. Weather poses it challenges. You think it is harsh on folks today, just image sitting through one of these wind storms in a covered wagon like what they had back in the 17-1800's. People have always been here, so has the weather.

Beyond amazing!!! The scenery is out of this world... from my perspective literally. I'm from Denmark, which is a very flat country, so this is like driving on the moon for me. Gorgeous, rugged and a little bit scary at the same time. I'm really curious to know, how you film the drone footage while the van is moving. Do you have a photographer with you? Or are you able to both drive the van and control the drone simultaneously?

@@Oees104 Hi fellow Dane 😀 Yes, but unless DJI changed the software since I had a drone, it flies straight following the target. In this video there were footage where the drone flew sideways, even vertically while the van was moving. But I guess you could program a course, start it and then drive the van 🙂

Wow, that drone work was incredible. I've travelled in and around Utah since mid 80s and have always been curious what flash floods really look like, luckily never having witness them first-hand. That waterfall footage was amazing! Well done! Sorry about your camera though. We're Canadian --currently in a deep freeze of -30C so we are definitely living vicariously through your trip. The highlight of every year is to camp and hike in and around Utah so I'm enjoying all this incredible scenery and longing for a trip back south in the early spring 2022. We motored down to St. George and snow canyon area for a few weeks once the border opened in November 2021 and hope to hit more of our fav spots (Needles Overlook, Burr Trail and anywhere in Canyonlands) next spring. Thanks for sharing the amazing scenery!

I watch all your vids but I rarely comment. The camera work on all of them, but especially this one are out of this world. I've never done it myself but I can surely appreciate all of the time and effort. The drone work is spectacular. That last few minutes was too gnarly for me. I would have turned back. Good camping and keep on truckin.

I was born and raised in the red rock desert. Spend most of my time in Southern Utah and yet I've never seen such an epic cinematic capture of a flash flood event. I was absolutely mesmerized and felt like I was right there with you with your choice of music and and movement of the camera. I just felt tingly all over at the sheer beauty of a place I am so familiar with. Makes me wish more and more that my van had 4x4 capabilities.

Hey Chad, I stumbled upon your KZread channel and am absolutely loving it, you're like a modern day Frontier Explorer, akin to the greats like Daniel Boone. Meriwether Lewis, Pike & Kit Carson, albeit you're exploring the back country in your modern day horse, a Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 van. Exploring and documenting your own and your horses capabilities. Being from Ireland it would be great if you used Google Earth to track your location and journey as it would give us international observers some perspective of just where you are. I had to Google the location myself, are you in Arches National Park? You're doing such a great job of promoting the area maybe you should tie in with the local tourist board as I for one would love to visit the area and explore the beautiful landscapes. Maybe tell us a little of the history, geology and stories of the area, I'd love to hear about the indigenous peoples that inhabited the area and the many great stories and folklore that are bound to exist. Keep up the great work looking forward to seeing you're next show Alan (Ireland)
