I’m interested in seeing this. I get most think the descendants should have ended after Boyce died but in all honesty there have been plenty of spin offs of other characters or characters kids of other movies that ended due to a death of an actor this is no different. It would be really cool to see the kids of the original 4 interact with this girl and have a continuation of the overall ream story line not of the original 4.

@@puppyfam7094 I think you misunderstood I’m not saying the original 4 I’m saying their children could come into the story. If you watch the teaser it shows “Principal Uma” so clearly they are old enough to have kids by now and could add that to the story or just do spin offs of other realms.

I get why everyone wants them not to continue but if you think about it, whether Cameron was still here or not the OG VK story ended with number 3. But they still left a lot open about the world of descendants. There was nothing more for the main 4 to do anymore. I’m glad they’re continuing.

I get what you mean and I agree that Descendants won't ever be the same without Cameron Boyce, but it is just as rude to say that you wish they didn't make this movie. Not for the fans, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but first and foremost it is rude for the actors and everyone who put work behind this hit of a project. Having a continuation outside the original 4 is good as we will get to see more characters and more descendants and explore new narratives. You can share your opinion however you see fit, but I wish people would be more considerate about the actors' and the executives' feelings. They are human beings who spent work hours producing something so the rest of us can have fun. For me, who also shares the sentiment and the nostalgia of the old cast, the least I can do is appreciate the effort and the talent. I wish the new Descendants all the best 🖤

Um huh? Evil was never the queen of hearts and neither was her mother 💀 this is the queen of hearts daughter and queen of hearts was NEVER once the evil queen, two entirely separate people. Evie never was hearts or used them, nothing like that at all.

I mean at least we still have uma but don’t judge a book by its cover just because the OG cast isn’t coming back and they had reason on why they’re not coming back .

Really looking forward to this! Please people, stop complaining about the og cast not being in it. It’s nice to have a change of scenery for once, and not to have a basic romance story be the entire plot line. Personally, I think this looks really good and I think red looks like an amazing new character! Quite honestly, I think if they continued the same plotline with the OGs, it would just get boring after a while. Really excited for this movie!! ❤❤

Watched all the Descendants movies and loved them! I feel supportive of this one. I hope they tie the story well together. RIP Boyce Cameron and your lovely eyes 🤍 surely, he would have hate the franchise to stop because of his absence.

Okay quick story time with me! (sorry this might be long) Okay so, I live in LA, and here in Century City, we havve a very popular acting class you could sign up for 100 dollars. People such as Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Dove Cameron, Kylie Cantrall, the voic of Baby Jack Jack, and SO much more. You could sign up for a summer class, so that’s what me and my sister did. At the end of the week, we were supposed to have a Meet and Greet WITH Kylie Cantrall. But there was one problem, it was during the actors’ strike. So they said that they’d email us when it was over and when she was available to meet us. But that NEVER happened. So im still waiting confused just sitting and waiting for Descendants wondering why we didnt get to meet her. Thanks for listening to my venting, bye!

As an avid descendants fan, I don’t know how I feel about this movie. I love the idea of getting more descendants after the third movie, but the only reason I’d want more is to see the main VK group, which isn’t in this. But this character also seems intriguing and I’m interested to see her story. Theres a lot they can do with the world of descendants, even though I’m not sure their planet has anything but aurodon, as it’s never been implied except for the intro of the original. All they would’ve had to do for that is just have one character present themselves as a “transfer student” from another kingdom. And idk how they’ll introduce new “big personality” characters like this without it feeling as though we should’ve already heard about them in the other movies. Overall, I don’t have high expectations for this movie, but I’ll definitely be watching it with an open mind. R.I.P. I honestly have mixed feelings, just because Cameron won't be in it, but until it comes out, we can only speculate. They might talk about him or have Easter eggs about him in the movie. Also, in the spin-off of the Descendents where Ben and Mal get married, an the end it is implied that Cameron's character went down the rabbit hole. This new character actually makes sense.
