The fact that this man tore BOTH ACL's and is still an active player in the league in 2023, is honestly insane. If you have not gone through this injury, then you wouldn't understand the physical rehab process as well as the mental. Also, he is 35...

I already said this in a separate comment but I've never seen an NBA player move the way he moved in his prime. You instantly know its D Rose when you see him in action. That's unfortunately probably a main culprit for the injuries. His mortal human body physically couldn't handle the transcendental things he was doing.

Wowww!!! Just woww !! Without those injuries he would have become an all time great and one of the greatest guards ever ! Right now he is one of the best guards of his decade and in bulls history .. Pure talent combined with amazing explosiveness

@@NG-ot4nb Oh D Rose was a joy to watch for sure & that is correct. Unfortunately, injury or no injury, he’d have to deal with a Lebron superteam for 7 seasons. The Bulls would’ve had to pair Rose up with another all time great player or players like GSW did. They did draft Butler but it took him 6-7 years to develop into a elite player. Derrick would’ve also had to develop a consistent long range shot as time went by

Crazy how you can literally make a longer plays list from just D Rose on Chicago
most athletic point guard ever- that play where he outmuscles d wade- and double clutches past lebron is so underrated. he out speeds, strenghts, jumps and athletics - two bigger , best atheltes at their position - wade and lebron.

I’m not exaggerating when I say I never seen another player like him anywhere, in any platform. I have never seen anyone come close. Athleticism, finesse, explosiveness, game IQ, he had it all at a beyond great level. No one could contain him.
This was a time to be alive. DRose was becoming the face with those battles with Chicago vs Miami

As a warriors fan will always be one the biggest “what ifs?” In NBA history if he didn’t get injured for several years he would be a hall of fame pg
Crazy there’s no Wolves or 2nd stint Knicks highlights in here. Shoot, even more Pistons ones. He became so crafty and his shooting and efficiency improved.
What a phenomenal player and performer! His demeanour always stayed the same, what a shame injuries robbed him and us of his prime. Great compilation of top plays but I feel that at least 2-3 plays from that game 1 of the 2011 Round 1 Playoffs vs Pacers could have easily been in the top 35. What a pleasure it was to watch him play. Youngest MPV of all time! Windy City Assassin!
My ultimate number 1 idol pointguard in the nba and the most humbled star in the nba .
That layup on bron and wade is absolutely INSANE WTF

THANK YOU GUYS! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DROSE!
I broke my spine 3 years ago. I wasn't even driving. Doctors said I won't be able to walk again, even I could not be able to go to the toilet by myself anymore. Could have been like: ''Yeah, not my fault and life is all that''. This man, whom I watched for years when he was on his prime, and also on his downfall inspired the most. I've always kept saying: ''If D-Rose could make it, so can you.'' Thank you Derrick, I've succeeded. I can walk again, not the entire the man I used to be, but it is just simple adjustments. Thank you for being my mentor, even if you never ever know about it far miles away. Thank you, sir. This one is for you! I wish you the best of everything.

Best way to describe D-Rose's game is Purely Wicked. Wow
I was fortunate to see this man played in his prime!
Wow! I miss this guy so much 😢
all time Chicago bulls player love it
As a former bulls fan it was so crushing to see him go down when he was the most dominate player in the league.
Love him.
The one where he scored on Lebron and Wade I would have either missed or got my shot blocked. What’s crazy is that he knew exactly where each part of Lebron body was, in proportion the the way he needed to maneuver, in order to not only not get the shot blocked but to score the basketball on both of them. That’s crazy.
Derrick Rose is extremely awesome and very good 🏀⛹🏾💕.
Always love rose! My favorite player a young kid my big sister got me his jersey for my birthday one year I'll never forget this man
I remember Rose scored career high in the late stage of his career, which was touching
