D Rose hasn't done much since his injuries, and I don't think it's because he couldn't anymore, he is and has been scared to death to have another serious injury. Another one might've meant his playing days are over so I think his mindset was to take it easy and stay in the league over going hard and potentially losing it all.

There will never be another. D rose will forever be the greatest… that never was. He’s still my favorite player to this day. He was on the cusp of toppling Lebrón and the heat so many times, I felt like it was his year when he went down with the first knee injury. That bulls team was so deep. If only if only….

To be honest, he still shows flashes. It's the mental game with Rose where if he gets hurt, he will revert back to slowing it down. I'm happy he's still in the league. There are other guards who ain't on his level CURRENTLY.

I told everybody. After the 2nd surgery, DRose should change his game to more of a well rounded player as opposed to only a slasher. It took him about 4-5 years to adjust his game to floaters and mid-range jumpers. But he did it. Most players like him who are super athletic never really learn to change their games to fit around the limitations. Good observation by Gil
