Classic Derrick Henry. He takes his 3 and 4 yard gains. and then boom he's off to the races. He is a special player for sure.

And those 3 or 4 yards chew the clock, make the defense tired, and rests their own defense

@@gavincoen3181 The offensive line was good but has absolutely nothing to do with Derrick Henry leading the nation in yards after contact or having a ten minute highlight reel of breaking tackles and embarrassing defensive players with probably the best most nasty stiff arm ever in college football. @barry walker Didn't know Tua was the offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, played QB and also played defense as well. Almost sounds like you forgot that Bama's offensive play calling against Clemson was dog shit and that Clemson was clearly the better team. But sure Tua is average even though he is everything needed to be a high level pro, reads defensive, has impeccable foot work, has the best arm and accuracy in the country. But hey, he's average at best. Looks like goldie locks for Clemson is having an amazing year himself so far. 7 TD and 5 INT.

I miss those early era Saban teams, where the run game was punishing but the defense was more punishing. Making games that would be 21-3 be considered a blow out just because of how much the ball was ran and kept time of possession almost the entire game. Along with the defense that would cause 3 and outs quickly. There's no one that's built the same way as Henry and that man seemed to never tire out, and played harder the longer the game was.
