Yeah, that last one was good, but we were always going to win that Texas game once McCoy went out. That onside kick was not only an amazing play amazingly well executed, but it completed shifted the momentum of that game and made the difference in winning and losing.

@@zacharyscott6779 Tough call. AJ was a team guy. He didn't have to bail out his team very often. Tua didn't have the kind of running attack AJ's teams had. I'd pick Tua as a quarterback in general, but the team was so much better when AJ was under center, and he fit those teams perfectly.

@@VvImpalervV i can understand that. Tua i think got a little cocky at times and it burned him. Examples would be the 2 INT's against Clemson in the NC game. Those throws were nothing more than "im going to do this cause I'm the man". Didn't read the defense at all. Talent wise I definitely think Tua was better overall but AJ always kept his poise. Still a good debate between the two though!

hal payne it was a hell of a pass!! Brilliant play and it doesn’t get the credit it deserves! Do anyone realize that most nfl qbs can’t do what he did and the best part was him looking off the safety!! I’m a Gator and I give credit where it’s due, no matter what I’m a SEC fan, imma root for all sec teams when they go against anyone outside of it!! Plus my best friend is a bama fan, I always wanted a coach like nick saban, when I coached pop warner I was kinda intense but the parents loved it and the kids thanked me because I won’t allow them to give up I wanted the best out of them, I was taught if you’re going to do something do it to the best of your ability !!that’s why admire coach saban!! Ps pop warner in my state of Florida and in Texas is gritty I have never seen parents so talk so much trash and be ready to fight and tell their kids you better leave him in the dirt you better lay his ass out, it’s brutal man

The roll out pass to Upchurch in the 2009 Iron Bowl will always be my favorite. I was a senior at Bama and I was visiting family in South Georgia during Thanksgiving break. Auburn had the lead the majority of the game and Bama handled the adversity the way champions do. Julio had some clutch catches on "The Drive". Then to put Richardson and Cody in the backfield and find Upchurch in the flat was pure genius. Without this play, the Bama dynasty may not have started as we know it. That 2009 team started the trend of national champions. They weren't the most talented group (compared to other National Champion Bama teams) but they left everything they had on the field. That team will always have a special place in my heart.

We as Alabama fans sure are spoiled I’m trying to enjoy it all because it will end one day I hope not soon! Lol I love Alabama football I’ve been watching since I was about 12 around 1984 I have lots of great memories like Jeff Dunn’s 90 yard td pass against Tennessee My favorite game of all time I went to was the 1988 Alabama vs penn state Derrick Thomas kicked ass that was the 1st game I ever went too when they came on the field I got chill bumps I knew I was hooked for life Roll Tide

Ah man, Mt. Cody. My car has broken down and I was pretty much stranded in a hotel and all I wanted to do was watch Bama vs Tennessee and this game almost gave me a heart attack the entire time. Then Mt. Cody came through with the block and the wave of relief that washed over me was everything 🤣 Roll Tide Roll 🐘🐘🐘

I had forgotten that Alabama produced so many elite WR'S. Its crazy that they have ao many Wide outs in the league still gettin it at the NFL level when the guys that were throwing them the ball never stay in the league long there are a couple exceptions but not many. In my book there quickly becoming known as a wide receiver hotspot more than a quarterback hotspot.

Tide fan, you have to edit in the pass from Tua in the 2017 - 2018 Championship Game vs Georgia! The pic plays (both of them!) from Clemson was hard to stomach. The catch from Prothro in the Sothern Miss game was amazing. I was there and got to see that play live! Same goes for Greg McElroy tiptoeing down the side line for a first down vs Florida for the 2009 sec cg. Ahhh.. good memories. RTR

As a Tennessee fan the most important for saban was the onside kick vs Tennessee his first season. Saban wasnt having a good year and had some heartbreaking losses . Nobody expected a onside kick so early and it basically took the life out of Tennessee and was the beginning of the end for fulmer . That was sabans first signature win . And kinda was the catalyst for things to come

It’s just mind-blowing, the amount of talent we’ve had CONSTANTLY, since Saban’s very first full recruiting class in 2008 (which included Julio Jones, Mark Ingram, Marcel Dareus, Donta Hightower, Mark Barron, and on, and on... and 2 of the 5* guys in that class never really had any kind of impact- BJ Scott and Tyler Love- but Dareus was a 3*, and Ingram was a low 4*, and there were a lot more that ended up being way underrated). That class was 5 national championships ago, hahaha.

Man, we had so much talent ON BOTH SIDES of the ball throughout the years giving us Bama fans... SO MANY HIGHLIGHTS we could watch over and over again! We all know Derrick Henry was/is amazing..BUT MARK INGRAM... DAMN THAT MINI-BULL started our run game! Lol. AJ McCarron was amazing.. again.. so many amazing players.. and what about DL Da'Ron Payne making that interception... THEN COMES IN ON AN OFFENSIVE PLAYS TO CATCH A TOUCHDOWN PASS! I believe Nick Saban had us Bama fans so much more invested in our team... Just when we were thinking... HOW THE F**K CAN WE TOP THAT.. He'd have us reloaded and topping previous Bama teams... He did it in such a way.. we as Bama fans... came to expect it.. even when we shouldn't have.
