I’m very surprised you found the Joseon stick did not leave your skin feeling greasy. Although it left a matte-looking finish, it felt very greasy when I touched my skin, even after an hour. Goes to show how individualized our experiences are!😊 Thanks for such an informative video!☮️💜

I have the same experience. The finish on skin looks matte, but feel greasy when I touch. And I think the product sits in a thick layer (compared to another one that I tried which is the one from Nature Republic)

I love the feeling of the Skin1004 sunscreen but when I wear it on top of my La Roche Posay Double Repair moisturizer my chin flakes terribly. Do I need a different moisturizer to wear under this or just try to find a different Korean sunscreen to use with my double repair moisturizer. Any help would be appreciated. The skin1004 leaves a slight whitecast on my skin, and its also super glowy in my opinion. Bit a disappointment.

I don’t recommend that. Using tret once weekly doesn’t do much I would just pick one and stick with it

You are talking about a different stick from Mary&May, not the one in the video.

Skin 1004 is a superb sunscreen . My 3rd tube . Love the Korean sunscreens. The BOJ rice , Roundlab birch juice , skin 1004 & numbuzin no 1 sunscreens never fail me . Never had issues with all these although the roundlab does contain a bit of essential oil & I have very sensitive skin .

Can you recommend which Korean waterproof sunscreens are good for outdoor activities. Thanks!

Same question here! So many choices for regular Korean sunscreens from all the derms, but none is water resistant/proof.

Yes, there are hundreds of choices for non waterproof but almost nothing on water proof or more water resistant sunscreens. But in the summer time, that should be the sunscreen of choice as all these ones will basically get sweat off.

Go for Japanese sunscreens! There are many water resistant sunscreen options!

Would suggest Allie - this Japanese brand sunscreen is “water resistant, friction proof against towel or clothing and coral reef safe 😍

The SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella is the most AMAZING sunscreen I have ever put on my face!!!

Seems like there isnt any korean sumscreen for oily skin. Everything i tried made me look too shiny.

Should I be concerned about potential benzene contamination of these sunscreens? Have they been tested?

Both Beauty of Joseon & Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica irritates my eyes. Even mineral sunscreens irritates my eyes. Only Skinceutical Physical Eye UV defense doesn't irritate my eyes.

Beauty of Joseon doesn't sting or irritate my eyes. Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Serum sunscreen is also non-irritating in my experience.

Are you sure that you got the Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum? Their other bottles with the brown lids have a minor white cast but the Hyalu-Cica one does not leave a white cast. I'm fair and I've never had it leave a white cast on me.

I never get a white cast using Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica Serum sunscreen. You may be getting a white finish depending on the products you're layering underneath (toner, essence, serum?)
