I am going to remember the quotient rule formula by: the function from the denominator of the original function is in the denominator of the derivative function and it is squared. The same function is also the leftmost term and the rightmost term of the numerator in the derivative function. The rightmost term is the derivative. And then you multiply these two terms by the original numerator function or by its derivative making sure the derivative signs in two resulting expressions alternate). And then you subtract the second expression from the first.
