My mom worked with special needs people including the down syndrome people. They all were the nicest, loving good hearted people. The hugs alone. Even after my mom retired and passed away I ran into one of them at a group home grocery store. I heard my name being called and was greeted with a hug. Then I was told how big I was now. He reminded me how much they loved my mom.

That's because ur Mom was an angel who was taking care of other angels. I was the Human Service field for over 25 yrs. Every population there was. Adolescent, Geriatric and Adult Psych, etc. Like my 9 yr old daughter who has Autistic Spectrum Disorder, people with autism or like derek, down syndrome there is an un- biased, non judgemental innocence. It's pure and really angelic.

L.A. KNIGHT, ur career is on an awesome trajectory. There are no limits. Having many great moments and leaving many lasting impressions. BUT MOMENTS LIKE THIS ARE THE MOST MOMENTOUS AND SIGNIFICANT. Thank you. Making someone's day like this must feel amazing. VERY VERY KOOL.

My uncle is 57 and suffers from the same condition as Derek on this video. I gotta say when they get old it's really hard sometimes. You need a lot of patience with them because they lose a lot of cognitive abilities as they get older. Respect man

I've been to Wrestlecons and that really opened my eyes to how much these wrestlers mean to som people. I always remember a young man in a wheelchair who was most definitely not able to take care of himself in line to see the Hardyz in front of me. DDP walked up out of nowhere and introduced himself to the teenage boy. Took him over to his stand where he, Jake Roberts and Gillberg all gave him free merch then he went right to the front of the line to Matt and Jeff. That was beautiful to see and so was this.
