The clouds moving in opposite directions at different levels after the storm was even wilder to me than the storm itself. I wonder if there was a lot of wind shear in the atmosphere that day.

Yea that’s usually how severe storms are made from especially for tornadoes with different directions of the atmosphere

Cedar Rapids, Iowa had a real Derecho in 2020 check out those vids for real footage, it stripped trees in milliseconds.
