After watching this Lecture, all my worries have gone because i am remembered that Allah sw has blessed me a lot.

I am a consultant psychiatrist and can vouch for the fact that counting one’s blessings and having a positive outlook towards life is a protective factor when dealing with clinical depression.

Alhamdulillah, me too, but Alhamdulillah there are some people who have huge egos and never reflect, so I am blessed to feel small and ignorant than to be arrogant in my ignorance

I just love listening to this sermon. It alleviates my worries and it teaches me the importance of being grateful.

Subhanallah this is man surprises me. His khutbahs are great, glad to see him still alive 😊 Be grateful

Problem here is His main point is right but we must also get the balance and out things in context. Be grateful with what you have but also work towards solving the issues that are currently here whilst being grateful at the same time. You can't accept the wrong that's taking place in the world and be fine with it. You got to balance it out

To be fair, he has repeatedly said multiple times in this lecture, that always complaining and being ungrateful is the condemnable act. He didnt say to be content with your unreasonable state. And he advised us to look inward first and THEN outward in a state of calamity. Be fair to Sh. Hamaza brother.

I just pray that Allah swt would give me a chance to be in the presence of sheikh Hamza mashallah . He is a blessing for the entire ummah in theses times . Mashallah what a scholar

The Shaykh is not wrong! American Psychiatrist often tell thier paitents to start journaling and writing about poeple who they are greatful for, then sharing what they are greatful for with that said person. They ( the psychiatrists ) Don't really know why this makes people feel better but it has shown to help a lot of people with thier depression so they share it with thier paitents!

I’ve been having this same recently in my life where I actively think of all the blessings I really have & how it could be so much worse. Even throughout history things have been worse, some people have this complaining mentality where they think the Muslims in our current time are dealing with the worst when that’s obviously not true compared to how many blessings we have now like running water & electricity. Al Humdulillah for all the blessings.
