This video is about my journey with depression and anxiety as a 40 year old woman. I am discussing past experiences and childhood trauma and how it led to my breakdown. But things aren't all bad; there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Therefore I'm also discussing my healing journey in regards to depression/ anxiety and childhood trauma.
My struggles with mental health has been difficult and tiresome. And I never really had someone in my life to coach me on that regard. In that regard, my psychologists and psychiatrists were very helpful.
This is why I made this video: to help people. To show people that they're not alone. To help the young ones not make the same mistakes and to help the older folk realize their own mistakes.
With all that said, I hope you can take something from this video to help you in your own life. Depression and anxiety is not a joke and is a symptom of a deeper rooted problem. So whilst it is great to watch videos ALSO seek help from your health professionals.
