My husband had a quadruple bypass years ago followed by cardiac tamponade caused by collapsed lung from the surgery. He suffered from deep depression/anger for quite awhile until I forced him to see his doctor about it. The treatment worked and he has been doing well since but his doctor told him it was quite common. We couldn't understand why nobody mentioned this as a possible problem as it would have saved a lot of pain and suffering for both of us.

I feel you husband pain CABG time 6 let him know he is not alone I’ve talk to dr nun of them Understand unless they been threw it them self

I can understand this whole heartedly. I have extreme depression, ptsd, and agoraphobia after being in an induced coma for 5 weeks. I had very awful hallucinations and Im so scarred emotionally by them. Got out of the hospital after 3 months in total with a trache, 24/7 oxygen and a noninvasive ventilator to sleep.

I am facing OHS soon to replace a heart valve

I had a heart at 29 open heart surgery 2016 another heart attack in November of 2020 and other in June of 2021 I find my self depressed sometimes just crying 😞😞😞😞😞😞 help
