sending you lots of hugs :) i'm sure you already know it but just to remind you: you're a brilliant actor and something will come!! and your audience will always be here for you! x everyone wants happiness, nobody wants pain, but you can't have a rainbow without a little rain.

Awww HUGS! I hope you feel better Matt! I really missed your videos by the way! Also yeah, don't worry! It's natural and my theatre friends feel the same! It's kinda sad to be away from something you love! Thank you for showing this to us too! It's really lovely to see all aspects of your life and it makes us feel like we're re really getting to know you and not just the side of you you show on camera! Hope everything turns out well for you Matt! Everything does eventually 😉

Aw, Matt! I hope you get a job very soon and that you're not a depressed actor, but a working actor! That would be terrific. I'm crazy busy these days, but it's all my own fault. Regular work and going into rehearsals for the 4(!!!) shows I'm directing at our community theater for the holiday new works festival. None of the theater stuff pays me anything, unfortunately, but I do love it.

Ahhhh I loved doing Amateur Theatre, I know what a joy it can be, but also LOTS of work! Break a leg with it all!! I will be fine just having a bad week I think... Mx

Aaawww Matt, lots of hugs and love to you, I hope you'll be busy working very soon ! Fingers crossed :) For my part, I'm feeling pretty anxious about my studies and my future and it brings not so great moments without any warnings sometimes. I'm kind of an overthinker, especially when I leave on my own, which I have for the last three years, so not very healthy overthinking. But I guess, everything will just fall into place soon. I'm expecting a lot from an eventual traineeship next year so I feel things might be moving from there.

I'm there with you Matt.. I love being on set and I love doing my work.. But we all have those periods when you just have no jobs lining up and your thoughts get a hold of you. What helps for me is that I focus on something else, like a hobby or an activity!

Hey Matt! You don't seem to appreciate just what a talent you are. You have such a warm yet quirky personality. I mean that as a high compliment. Such a funny, lovely guy. And generous to share all your feelings. You may say you have no talent for writing, but what are all these videos? What is writing but sharing your thoughts and feelings. Do more videos. Think about standup. Seriously. You'd be wonderful at it. I wish I had your genius for it. We need to be brave and make our own work. (Pot, kettle.) I keep saying I don't know what that is for me but it's so clear what it is for you. You're already doing it! X

hey matt, cheer up! there's always a silver lining behind the grey clouds, maybe it's just not the right time for the opportunity to come by yet. Hopefully an exciting job will be awaiting you in the near future :-)

I know exactly how you feel. I was waiting for an acting job for ages, and a few weeks ago I finally got one. The funny thing is when I tell people I have got something they ask 'What are you doing after that?" People are never satisfied 😊
