Depeche Mode. The most famous non-famous band in the world. You won’t find them breaking charts on billboard, but their fan base is absolutely HUGE! I was in a crowd like this during this song and it was one of the most interesting experiences I’ve ever lived through. I’ll never forget that. And Dave was in such euphoria through the whole thing. He was feeding off the crowd and the crowd was feeding off him. Thousands upon thousands of hands waving. A whole ocean worth. Incredible.

The last time I saw them, people really needed to put their phones down and wave their arms, instead of trying to record everyone waving their arms, it defeated the purpose.

I did it in Madison Square Garden, with 20K other people. I was sitting at right hand side of the stage, was able to see the entire crowd. I'm telling you, witnessing 20K people doing it all together, singing it all together, was absolutely prices, full of energy experience.

The energy in this crowd is amazing

Saw them in Houston last night on their Memento Mori Tour. Simply incredible and this was the song I was waiting for. They did not disappoint.

this is how the song should sound in the 80's. powerfull, simply perfect. it's my favorite song from Depeche Mode, especially of the lyrics. i've lost my best friend when he was 42, he had a stroke. so every time i listen to this song i have tears in my eyes. and look to the crowd. this is so amazing. i have goosebumbs every time i watch this!

Musically, I adore their precision, their sound is never sloppy.

Was at the concert in Dublin, Ireland 🇮🇪 last night, 03 February 2024. First time I saw them was in 1984 during the Black Celebration tour. A phenomenal band.

I was at the Tour of the universe concert in Hamburg, Germany. Absolutely awesome! One of the best concerts I've ever been to. The energy coming from the stage and from the crowd etc. Fantastic!

Dunno. Dave Gahan is a recovering heroin addict. He attempted suicide by slashing his wrists in August 1995. In 1996 Gahan overdosed on a speedball at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in Los Angeles, which resulted in his heart stopping for two minutes until he was revived by paramedics. It doesn't seem like his job is that awesome.
