Yea But I feel like he has gotten a lot better at dancing.

It's remarkable at this young and early stage of being musicians that they possessed this level of maturity artistically.

Oh, I heard his cool back-vocals on a bad recording of almost all the songs on the "Black celebration" album. This was confirmed by my cousin, who is also a musician. Later I realized that it is this backing that gives lightness and movement to Dave's heavy and deep voice; serves as a link to Martin's high-pitched voice. And Alan's music...💜 Blemba, almost every day it takes me to our planet.🎹🪄🛸 Alan from Hammersmith.

This song meant so much to me in 1982. So great to see this after all this time!

20 years old boys already legends in 80's. So much talent. Their contribution to music till then is amazing. The feelings they gave to everyone are outstandings. Can't spend enough words for them. Can' t think of my life without them. Hisotry of music.

The youthness shine like diamant, they were perfect.

Such a great quality concert, both sound and video.

Depeche Mode is a legend. When it comes to live appearances, they don't get anything wrong compared to the album version. Not even a note.

It makes me happy to think that Alan (or his kids) most likely checks these videos and reads how much we adore what he brought to DM and the incredible atmosphere he engineered. His magical touches, ideas and commitment to quality have made so many of us so happy. Alan - you’re a legend!

Agreed. Legend is not even the word , I don't think they have made a word that describes Alan Wilder. Hes just that good.

When I see clips from this era, I find it amazing that Alan was just a temporary live performer, as he's already such an important part of their act

Same as me...but I was 15 :D Oh man...we used to replicate the tracks on our Korg MS10 and Roland Jupiter 4 my school friend and I...those were the (analogue) days :)

DM is a masterpiece of a band. I loved Dave’s sexy voice. The electronic music style unbelievable. He’s dancing 🥵. DMi is one of a kind band that to me is my number one band. Everything about this band is perfection.

This video makes me happy every time I watch it. These guys will never know how important they are for me.

Jeff Baker I guess it's more likely a post 70's way of dressing, but in my op the all in black was more accurate for the 80's & on. :-)

Jeff Baker Yeap, we used to say that we dress in black to mourn over(or for) the future. After all I'm still quiet a fan of wearing dark whilst this style slipped over to the techno culture as well and beside it also emphasizes the serious conditions on the planet. Cheers from Hunnia! ;-)
