  This song totally reminds me of the summer of '88. I was exchange student in France for the summer. I bought all the DM albums prior Music for Masses on cassette. This song totally reminds me of sitting on the beach in the Riviera.

  7th grade reincarnated when Im 47. Been listening to DM since I was 12 years old. Now Im an old man and I still play their records, cds adn MP3's weekly. Good music never dies. People a thousand years from now will discover this song and, perhaps, play it a "retro" school dance.??? Who knows what role DM plays in the distant and far future????!!!!

  Depeche Mode is THE MOST UNDERRATED band of our lifetime. Looking all the way back to their beginning, they were absolutely monumentally groundbreaking and all the way to now, they’re still an absolute powerhouse of passionate creativity, showmanship, and musical genius. What I’d have given to have been one of those kids in the audience. Unfortunately I was about 8 years old, oh and recovering from childhood cancer so… if you were there, count yourself lucky.

  4:17: Dave, Martin and Alan, the heart and soul of Depeche Mode❤ No disrespect to Andy, I bet he must have been a very nice guy to hang around with and it's very sad that he passed but if I had to choose between him and Alan, I wouldn't have to think twice. I'll never stop wondering what masterpieces these three would have created had Wilder remained in the band.
