This stage is legendary. Together with the dancers of House of Love, Solar delivered a beautiful stage for her self-written song with a choreo that consists of voguing dance from head to toe, the first one in kpop history, especially with the ballroom concept. In addition, I love the inclusive message delivered by this song that every dancer was so charismatic and portrayed an unique color like an unique individual in any community that should be respectful and loved. This catchy and refreshing song is one of the best kpop songs that I've ever heard. We need more songs in House genre like this for kpop because these days, many sounds are just repetition without new ideas. This is why I love Solar's music as it's always very unique and diverse. 🔥

I wouldn't call Solar the first to do House/vogue dance in k-pop. If anything I'd give that crown to Chung Ha. Her songs Stay Tonight and I'm Ready were also choreo'd by House of Love (the choreo studio who created the dance for Colors and are Solar's background dancers for the performance!)

According to the IG posts by Love Ran, the mother of House of Love and the choreographer of the 'Colors' choreo, and by dancers from House of Love, 'Colors' is the first kpop song with a choreo that is completely in voguing. This was what I tried to say. Besides, there are other artists who already incorporated voguing components partially into their kpop choreos before the two artists we mentioned here, including a few choreos by Love Ran. Most importantly, 'Colors' by Solar being the first kpop song to have a choreo completely in voguing does not discredit any effort by other artists who have been introducing voguing into kpop gradually to make it more visible. Everyone is important so that it can achieve such milestone.

obviously solar served and mothered all over the stage but can we appreciate HOUSE OF LOVE???? THEY LOOK SO GOOD AND DANCED SO WELL!!!! 10s 10s 10s across the board!
