It’s funny how this young horn section plays “San Juan sunset” instead of “Superstrut”. They definitely didn’t play GTA Vice City :D Gerardo and Eumir are the best as always! The drummer seems to be a little overacting, but he’s fantastic anyway. The guitar player should better not be playing in Rhapsody theme, because he destroys it, but he’s great at playing solos. Great thanks for uploading this, was it in 2019? I was at Deodato/Cotonete show in Paris in the same year :)

I think this whole performance is flawed. The horns should not be allowed up there playing like that. The trumpet is losing breath at the end of long sustains, and he didn't play those great high parts. Barely heard the strings, at all. It really sounded like a rehearsal to me. I would have loved to see that guitar solo when the camera was on Deodato. That was a nice solo.

As a guitarist myself I'm not sure what "in Rhapsody theme" means, if it's rhythmic style you don't like I'm guessing you're not a fan of Santana then? He's one of the best guitarists the world has got to offer...

@@PeteShaw-eg7nf no, he's a great player. I just mean that on 11:45 it's not exactly what a guitar player should be playing in this arrangement. And then again on 21:47. But it could happen to anybody. If I was at his place, I'd probably be too nervous to play anything at all

9:05 to 918 we can't hear the horns. At one point, they sound off which "might?" be why we can't hear them.

13:50 Deodato takes his solo and the camera stays on the percussionist. What's up with that? 15:20 the guitarist starts soloing and the camera goes to Deodato playing the rhythm part. This is getting a little hard to watch. 16:25 Deodato seems to want some keyboard and guitar interplay but the guitarist doesn't seem to understand what Deodato wants to do, 17:00 percussionist starts a solo but the camera stays on Deodato (smh).

The drumer i think that is the same Guy in Paris 1993
