Why do all Blacks have to think alike? There's nothing wrong with what Denzel Washington said. Good parenting and healthy two-parent homes do heavily deter crime.

Journal Wright I think there's a large variety of issues negatively impacting the lives of black men. There's a lack of jobs,no skills,no education,no father figure bad role models, I also believe young black men suffer from a low self esteem,as a result there's very little motivation to make progress. The problem can't just be a one parent home, for 400 years the black community has been dealing with trials and tribulations and it's never been limited to just one issue.

=== during slavery family mindset were beaten of people weekly (similar to romanian gypsies) and single mom thinking was implanted because the white guy could control here better, the son watch the dad be held down by three white males or mom raped by three white males at once developed the no hope mentality and when a black boy invented something (pulling himself up by bootstrap) i white guy used the white system to take it from him or jail him for fun so that only 125 years ago and blaming the home in BC means holding the mom accountable ( and the white system who uses the govt to keep her in charge of boys ensuring he will not have what denzeal had exposure to a stable father) the family court system pushes out father who can not afford to fight them while giving the welfare mother a free lawyer, yet white family court would rather give a boy child to a WIC and welfare mother over a working warehouse father or any working dad with a better home they need him to pay the 26% intreats even though the verbiage of family law says the most stable home - then why give the boy to a mother who needs assistance over a male that dsnt need welfare then because of her enrollment in welfare whites give her a free welfare lawyer while he has to come up with 3k just to get a lawyer to fight the million dollar system where the judge works to get the welfare dept it 26% intrests from the working dad who wants custody, and the mother produces a violent boy, who is smothered by female mindset and female ways with no exposure to males other then street males ......saying it starts in the home exposes her for not being accountable and the system against the working dad now do you understand ??

SO WHAT! Asians were brought to the United States as coolies, to build the railroad, they were not much better then slaves, but Asians are top earners, and very seldom are in jail! In fact, white people came to America often as punishment for crimes. They were settlers, and came here and often dioed from harsh conditions. If you want to find excuses, you will always find excuses. Not many people living today have been affected by Jimk Crow laws.

micah smith but what if the home has been broken for decades due to the system and ideology of white supremacy. Just compare the war on drugs on the black family versus white family....during crack cocaine era, the entire system worked to destroy the black family. laws like 3 strikes prison for life were enacted, children taking from family and put in foster care, CIA flooded the streets with guns and drugs, Hollywood/media/entertainment were used to socially engineer people into destructive lifestyle, etc.....now with opioid epidemic its a whole different game. Instead war on drugs it is "NATIONAL HEALTH CRISIS"....WHY? BECAUSE ITS A DIFFERENT DEMOGRAPHIC, THEIR WHITE PEOPLE....

@ALL IN LOL. Nice Marxism there bucko. Sorry but " the system and ideology of white supremacy" is the best and greatest system to ever be on Earth to date. It has created the best Countries to live in and the best quality of life, tools and technology to date. It's why tens of millions of African Americans have the Black Privilege that they have today instead of living in Sub-Saharan Africa. It's why people everywhere in the World today benefit from the technology and progress that has been gained through the sacrifices, battles and triumphs of everyones past. Everybody alive today benefits from Western Civilization/Imperialism/Capitalism and Commie, Marxist beta males like yourself who have never created or conquered anything ever, and are programmed with Marxist divisionism by the very System you proclaim to hate while your ideologies existence today is only tolerated because of the Medias programming of culture. You mention CIA drugs and Clinton era sentencing, those are not systemic problems, those are distinct policies created by individuals/groups which can just as easily be rescinded once more people become less ignorant and stop voting for Liberals. The problems and issues you mention that are not Marxist myths such as the War on Drugs, The Education (State Indoctrination) System, The Media and Hollyweird influence of culture need to be and are currently being ignored/destroyed. I would focus on real accomplishable things like those things that you mentioned rather than boogeymen enemies like the Whites/Jews/Bankers/Systems of Oppression.

D best We are a long way off from that. It is a shitty situation. We can all name stats and reasons. Everyone, including blacks getting tired of hearing it. Do we have solutions? I think we've addressed all the problems. That helps to some extent. What is anyone doing about it? I get it's depressing and overwhelming. You have ppl who say they're lazy, no fathers gun culture blah blah blah. 13 percent commit blah blah blah. It's systemic. We all need to do better. It's a depressing world. It's easy to say blacks have same opportunity as everyone else.. Maybe, but are their decisions and opportunities the same as everyone else? We know it predominantly white nation. That's the way it is, for now. Can't change that. Is it as simple as making a choice to succeed. Can we use the blacks that do rise above and succeed as inspiration. Does all the white ppl struggling help the situation or all their success stories. I see the numbers are lopsided.. I've said who cares why, but obviously it is very important why. Because then you have blacks that say they are stuck in their shitty situation. What are your ideas? Again, most of time we only hear what problems are and no solutions.

Liberals have spent 40+ years making black people out to be the victims of a corrupt system. So they can't stand it when noted black celebrities speak up and say the opposite. And more and more of them are speaking up. Morgan Freeman, Lil Wayne, Denzel Washington, Will Smith, etc. All these people did the exact same things any person of any other nationality would need to do to get famous. If they just rolled over and claimed they were a victim, then it would undermine their entire life's work. In other words, they're proving black people can break out of the "system" and become famous. Even more famous than most white actors/politicians.

It doesn't even have to be missing fathers, it can be missing mothers. I was severely abused as a child and iit was my brother's daycare worker who would make sure that I ate everyday and was sown that I mattered. She became mother in my eyes. What about all the innocent black men convicted and sentenced to jail. The "Criminal" Justice System targets black men relentlessly. Look at all the wrongful death row convictions that been overtruned and the recorded events where unarmend black men and women have been executed by police, shot in the back, killed with their hands held high in the air, and in some cased laying face down on the ground with their hand handcuffed behind their backs. How the hell can make a dumbassed statement like that?

Easy.in general when the police give you orders follow them and dont do crime or hang with those who are envolved in criminal activity. Most of those examples you gave as far as far as too much force could have been avoided if they would have followed the orders given by officers. Also black men are not the only persons who get shot by police officers. Me i would just follow the orders that way i dont have to worry about leaving it in the hand of the officer who is armed to make a decision. I am a minority and this has worked for me. It is unfortunate that some persons have been convicted for crimes that have not committed because someone lied. I agree that is dead wrong and hope with dna will help avoid that from happening in the future.

Black Americans refuse constructive criticism or borrowing any lessons from other cultures or from history. Huge waste of time, and they will never change. Once you accept that fact and move on, you have a much happier life. So sad Denzel tried to help and got ripped for it. Just the same typical BS like always.

LOL...typical clueless reply. Where do you think those slaves came from in the first place? Do you think those African ancestors walked themselves to the coasts and put themselves into bondage? Are you that stupid? For centuries the various tribes on the African continent were fighting with each other and taking slaves as prizes. When those tribes realized how profitable it was to sell their captured slaves to roving Arab slave traders it became a booming business. You think the Europeans went into the interior of the African continent and captured the slaves themselves? Please... Yes the Europeans were more than willing to buy them, use them and abuse them but your ancestors' hands are by no means clean either. In every discussion about slavery everyone seems to conveniently forget that part of the story so yeah, there are some lessons you could learn from that might help to remove that obvious chip on your shoulder. What mass murders are you talking about? Oh you must mean the Black on Black mass murders of those 40 people in Chicago the other day...No? Hmmmm...I guess that doesn't count in your book because it wasn't done by whitey or a white cop. Get over yourself dude!

What do you want from the system? To stop putting people in jail if they are black? Black people already recive preference in schools, they are harder to evicet then white people, and most companies are really looking for qualified black people, so they have a better chance at getting work. What else would you like? Maybe if instead of asking for more and more and more, the stress in the black community would be how can we make the country better for everyone? The more you look out for the blakc community, the more you set yourself apart. Maybe stop demanding, and start being a part of the country.

Some parents can do everything right and still their offsprings seem to go astray. If you live in certain minority communities before birth you are a test subject, starting with the prenatal vitamins that the expecting mother is given, then there's the manipulation of the baby formulas, from there, there's the poisonous vaccinations and don't mention the school lunches, and the treatment of our water system. Manufacturers and our Govt knows exactly what communities the chemically tainted foods, and meds are assigned to every thing is pre coded with a language only they understand because they created it. Most minorities grow up in poor areas, that's the only rent they could afford, being exposed to lead paint and chemically induced heating and air condition blow out, these thing weren't' by mistake, they were intentional by design. It's not harmful to all, but for some reason for other year after year inhaling and ingesting these unknown killers, diminish some otherwise healthy brains. You can raise your child with all the good morals and values that you can but their brain development started to washout before birth. Yes, it starts at home the U. Great clip! The Justice System at its heart is a welfare program for its vast number of employees. Crime is often a condition of desperate economics, mental health issues or both, one caused by the other. Prison might actually alleviate the economic aspect of a person who's committed a crime. It provides a place to sleep they can count on, clean clothes, 3 meals a day, education sometimes, etc. (I'm not for prison btw), so if we remove the economics as a problem, we are left with the challenged mental health of each prisoner. Prison is not a "cure" for bad mental health, it exacerbates it. The obscene percentage of black Americans in prison can easily be traced back to the prison without walls from their impoverished communities and broken homes. Justice doesn't begin with a crime. Justice is a value that should either always be present in every situation or it isn't Justice except in name. Here is a simple bit of logic regarding the disenfranchised communities that breed our future prisoners. The US Government sends Billions, maybe Trillions in foreign aid. What priority in our government allows them to spend such grandiose figures, when just a percentage of that could be distributed to ending the poverty, mental health challenges and broken families in our own country? Out country is at war with itself, class wars, opportunity wars, drug wars, etc. "First, remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

Train up a child in the way he/she should go: and when they grow older they will not depart from the foundation their family have instilled in them.
