This tribute never fails to make me tear up because I can plainly see how much Sidney Poitier means to him and how emotional he became at the end. Now, younger generations of actors look at Denzel Washington with the same respect and admiration he felt (still feels) for Mr. Poitier!

Men like Mr. Potier, Morgan Freeman, and Denzel Washington are desperately needed front and center today with the youngsters in Black America in my opinion. These men are great examples of what maybe can be if one wants better things from life.

Sidney Poitier is an inspiration for any man who seeks wisdom. People blindly choose famous people in answer to "who would you meet and hang with for a day if you could?". I say "blindly" because most would choose issues of common habits or hot takes over issues of human enlightenment. Denzel would be a solid pick.

I can't choose a favorite of the movies Sidney Poitier has been in, because, I have loved every movie I've seen him in. That being said, when I saw him in " A Patch of Blue ", I felt something from his performance, and, from every performance of his to follow, that I have never felt from any other actor's performance. . . Thank you Sidney Poitier, for the enlightenment, and happiness your movies have brought me. I greatly admire you, and your work.

So sincere, it moved me to tears. Denzel has such a big heart. Wonderful men, both of them. What great role models. Class Act both men.

People must just go to KZread and find good vids to dislike. Nobody can tell me a reason they didn't like this Vid.

Maybe because Denzel said "Sidney was the man of my dreams," and not them. Who knows?
