My spirit as a black child and throughout my adolescent never like Oprah. There was always an evil thing about her that manipulated people.

I am a white British woman and in my opinion, this discrimination against black people needs to stop. Most of my favourite actors and actresses are in fact black, not because they are black but because of their acting talent and they should be paid the same amount as any top white actor and actresses. Oprah had a very serious and unique opportunity to "DO THE RIGHT THING" by/for Black female artists!

I thought Taraji was wonderful in Hidden Figures. I watch that move every chance I get. I’ve never had a high opinion of Oprah. I watched occasionally, mostly for a particular actor or actress. One of my favorite actors is Denzil Washington. I watched him & Morgan Freeman on a video where they spoke on various topics. Denzil is the son of a preacher & is really a good man. Morgan is an intelligent man. I enjoy watching them both. I’m sorry that Oprah forgot where she came from & how hard the top is to reach. Her need to put other talented women in low paying jobs speaks to her insecurities. No one should be higher than she is. How absolutely wrong you are Oprah. Just remind yourself how you got Markled!

I'd noticed that Monique just dropped out of sight but I never knew why that happened. The first time I saw m saw her was in a tv show and I really liked her. She was great, good at what she did and moreover, quite funny. At that time of my life laughter did not come easily to me. However, Monique always put a smile on my face and a great mood in my heart. Well enough to actually be able to go to sleep without my problems on my mind. I'm so sorry to learn of her problems and of her being blacklisted. How ugly and grossly unfair. How could someone take away another's livelihood over something so small and petty. I leave such punishments for gross crimes such as those against children, women and innocent men; not for someone talking about me. Especially when it's true. Why couldn't Oprah simply talk to Monique and apologize. She could have remedies the problem by making good on Monique's issues and just changed the way she conducted her business. Did she become a billionaire by stepping on innocent people? I talky thought she was sincere about all the stories she'd related regarding how poor her family was and all the hardships and ugliness she'd suffered in her life. What a crock........ Anyone crying wolf always makes it more difficult and causes immense suffering on those whose sad situations are genuine. How does one ever know who's being truthful and who's not? My heart goes out to those actresses and I pray all the exposures of their pain bring good, healthy changes to a filthy industry.

Tatami is one of my favourite actresses. She deserves superstar wages. More than once I've watched a movie and it's because of her that I watch it. She's so believable in all her roles. You would think that in this century, things would be equal for all. Breaks my heart that Oprah of all women would have ensured the salaries were equal.

ALL people deserve to be treated equally no matter their color or amount of money they have. If we end the inequality we would have a better quality of life for all.

Not Oprah or Bill Gates ,who both had the power and money to help Maui and its residents when they had no access to hospitals after the fire , they could have parked a boat ,with doctors and medicine ,or help people that lost everything instead of offering to buy out their property, as is mentioned often , she hasn’t denied it either

@@dmar1796 Oprah was the one who gave him his Dr.Phil show and started his career in television. Joy is not giving that up esp the money that goes along with it. Joy had a face lift but no one knew at the time. She then launches her new facial treatment products on the show.. She couldn't wait long enough for her face to heal up and could barely open her mouth to speak, but she did anyway and you could tell something wasn't right with her. Found out later why. Fake like Oprah.

I could never understand what people saw in Oprah. I watched two or three of her early shows and saw how fake she was. Every now and then I caught a glimpse of her when some friends were watching her shows and every time I disliked her more. What really got my suspicions confirmed is the story in my home town Zurich (Switzerland) and the way she treated people in real life. Her sense of entitlement is just beyond anything I've witnessed. An absolute fake and empty shell, devoid of anything what makes a human!

Its hard to feel sorry for how much someone is paid, when they're over paid to begin with.

Taraji P Henson is an AMAZING actress. In my opinion, she is hard to replace. Oprah should remember that she has someone higher up than her that she needs to answer to. Treat people like you would want to be treated. Her time may come that she can’t control. She needs to rethink what she is doing to other people. It’s probably already too late to worry about Chang. Did she forget that she is black and she should be fighting for her people, not doing things to bring them down. They deserve the pay hike just like anyone else.😊. There are many amazing black entertainers. They deserve at least equal pay. In some cases they deserve more than others. It’s so WRONG what is happening to black talent.
