I love your videos greg
About a year ago they found a tumor in my head it it was cancer. Three days later they took it out and then I had a couple seizures so they put me in a coma for four days. With all of that done I was paralyzed on the left side of my body and I couldn't talk. I'm getting to walk and I can talk some but never take for granted what health you have. I am blessed so blessed to still be alive and I am thankful for that but two days before it I didn't think about cancer or my health. I thank God for the ability to think about it now

A little late to the party, but God blesd you! I had metastatic melanoma 25 years ago. They didn't think I'd make it past 5 years. It was a wake-up call for sure. Glad you're still with us.

watching again 8 years later dude is a legend.
Looks like such a relaxing place!
Fantastic vid... I live a few miles away and I've been to this spot a few times as a pedestrian, haven't seen a video so well produced here... Great to see Mike and hear his story, hats off to him and his spot... If you haven't seen it in person, it's definitely art. Small world... bout fell out of my seat when I saw that Mavro produced this, had a great time editing some stuff with that dude for the Nike 6.0 HBBmx Pro in... 2010? lol. Great piece Mavro.

Me too
Those are around the corner from my house. I was told he stopped riding and was letting the fall apart, it is so nice to hear that all the hardwork that went into them didn't go down the drain.
Holy sh!t I wish we had such locations in Germany, even tho I lack the skills to actually ride them! Even watching our local pros escalate on them would be a BLAST!

Mike is such a great person in general I remeber when my family for the call about Mike in the Emergency room. I got mad respect for my Cousin favorite rider in the industry.

loving building and riding dirt jumps myself but these are next level
You guys are soooo awesome.
This was so artistically shot.. beautiful bit!
So rad brahs!
That leg is so freakin gnarly though
Good stuff Redbull!!
Beautiful set of trails. Grew up riding these. I'd give anything to be able to ride again. At 40 i'm afraid of the injuries
Dam that story is motivational and give you props man and I build dirt jumps my self and I know the struggle building. sometimes it doesn't work out but don't give up and make that shit work.
those trails look so smooth.. huge.. but smooth. Mad 270 burm
So good seeing mike getting the credit that's so long over due
Dude you speak to me I spend hours at my local spot I’ve probably put in at least 200 hours of digging and love every second
Hell yeah real shit dope video do ya thing my dude
This inspired me😀
I have that same scare!! 21 surgeries 3 days life support!!
I broke my tib and fib on the bike in a similar manner, minus the compartment syndrome. I feel your pain
Wild
damn that story man!
We got the same last name mike lol you guys are hella lit dope asf!!
my God! that is horrific injury!
After hearing Mike's story I nearly shit my pants every time sergio did a nose dive 3
Riders are a dime a dozen. There are good riders at every local spot, but there are very few dedicated builders.

For real
Everything said in this video is so spot on. I've been digging and riding trails since I was 15 or so and I guess to begin with it was all about the riding. Now I'm in my thirties and can honestly say digging is as much fun and probably more important than riding. It definitely helps me get through the low times, it is a form of therapy to me too. The best feeling in the world is seeing the grins and smiles on peoples faces when they ride trails I've helped to build. It doesn't matter if you're throwing sick dumped 3's or just able to get through, the satisfaction of seeing people enjoy your hard work makes everything worth while. Digging trails is certainly an art form, it's a form of sculpting, an expression of yourself in some ways. This was the best day of my life - vimeo.com/136907109 Hopefully there'll be more like it :)

Just recently went to this spot. Kinda sad to see this video and see it all grown in now from the bush. Even being grown in the size of the hits were unreal. Hopefully this place can get a makeover soon cuz it's too sick!

I know its been a while since you commented but my friends are gonna clean it up and all that and do more jumps so hopefully everything goes good and it can finally get redone after everything that happened including the fire that happened there
I live next to those jumps and ride them alot but ever since the fire parts of it have been ruined that would be cool if he can come back and rebuild his creation of art
nice video!! Can you make more dirt-BMX videos?
Really good dirt jumps like this make me want chocolate cake

We got some similar scars. Not as cool of a story but broke my Tib and got compartment syndrome as well... Not fun I'll tell ya that much!
i am going to river side in april can i go ther
Ive been looking for trails in riverside for about a year now since i started riding again (about to be 40yrs old). all the old trails have been torn down or reclaimed by nature. Anyone know where some good spots are to ride?
there is one song that u guys overuse @4:57 why don't you tell us in the description? I like that song
Est-ce qu'il y aura un épisode avec Matthias Dandois ?
I broke my leg the same way only it was a small jump and my foot was only at a right angle, the top of my toes are numb, weird...
How sick is this place??
And yh please let s share the song near the end of video
Is this track open to public?
these trails are i. the riv????
Anyone know what bike or at least frame he is riding? Thanks
I've never built my own set but I've helped people maintain some...how do you even determine how fat to make a gap like that Palm jump?

to co mu sie stało?
My father beat the shit out of his body doing some stupid shit in his life and working a hard job. Had to take drugs and drink himself to sleep every night because of the pain. Didn't lock the drugs up like he should have and my brothers got into doing drugs partly because of the easy access to my fathers drugs. Eventually one went to prison for 2 years. Later he killed himself. The other tried to kill himself but failed and has moved on to harder drugs. His life is a mess. Live your life and love what you do but take the time to protect your children from your failures.
imagine Tom dugan there..
bmx or mtb ?

+Сережа Гринев This is bmx. Mtb stands for mountain bike. BMX stands for bike motocross, which in the case of freestyle is not that obvious, but in the racing mode it is.

My friend's dad got a working xbox one but it needed a harddrive:D They also get healthcare, hell I work at the library and I'm 15 and get a retirement fund. So garbageman get good benefits where I live but I get what you're saying.
