I like your kind, low-keyed words to these babies even when they did a little bit of wrong. They love you. One year our dog wrapped his leash around our tree. The whole tree came crashing down breaking every breakable ornament. He was a big boy and dragged the tree with him. We untangled the dog and cleaned up the mess. We had a great laugh over our Charlie Brown tree. I never did replaced any of the ornaments.

Nothing like a snack of a Christmas tree ornament and then a nap on the couch.

Even though Denver is a naughty dog, I'd love a pet like that. Denver is so expressive and comical with those expressions. I know most dogs do it in some form but Denver has to be the most.

Haha, you're a fabulous dog owner. I profoundly respect all pet owners who are both patient, stern, but loving all the same. I kind of look at raising pets the same way as I do kids, it comes down to two things either it's "absolutely no way in HECK" to the absolute polar opposite, " What the hell......" there can't really be a happy medium.....If you forbid them from doing certain things, you never hear the end of if, they prove you wrong, or it causes discord(in children)and you constantly have to reinforce the original rule/tiring and wears you down....or you can just say, to hell with it, as it's sweating the small stuff anyways, it's the same with pets. You're dogs are healthy, happy and fantastic, thanks for a peekinto your life with them!!! :) The world would be a much better place to be if there were more like you in it.... :) I don't pander, take that as a true compliment, many could learn from the way you've got your animals properly taught and cared for!!!

That's exactly what you should do. My dogs got into a plastic lid for a glass tupperware earlier and I definitely got more upset at them than I should have, especially since it was my fault for leaving it on the edge of the counter again. After seeing this video I can't think of any reason to stay upset about it. I'm letting it go.
