He really only started being nice after he noticed you were filming! Even the lady was scared of him.. “oh I didn’t see” …. You are a kind person to still talk to him.

If that guy doesn’t want people picking up his four thousand dollar grape agate he should have it in a proper display case .. or at the least have a clear sign saying ‘do not touch .. ask for assistance’ I stopped going to Gem and Mineral shows long ago .. just too many stuck up cocky vendors with attitude.

Loved the video but yes Mexican culture is Native American culture, the proper word is indigenous it’s a global term but Mexico is originally part of America, so they’re native Americans too. There’s a lot of controversy on that, the only reason we’re separated is because of colonization.

You covered the 2 biggest time wasters I get sucked into at gem shows!! 😆 Rough Ethiopian opals and phalluses. I have 107 figures in my collection so far, all individually chosen, and I can go on about them for hours with a totally straight face and it totally weirds everyone out.

You were fortunate to speak with Keith. He is, not only a certified genius, but a true geology expert. A real rock hound who's traveled the world. Also makes THE best chocolate chip cookies in the gem & mineral world.

Some amazing work. I just don't ever look for finished pieces, mostly because I like to cut and cab pieces myself. So when I'm at the Tucson show next year, that's what I'll be looking for.😁👍
