what I have noticed is, depth maps usually gives me meshes with less high frequency noise while dense cloud especially on high or ultra high is very noise even after cleaning the dense cloud via confidence filter. So dense map result is a lot cleaner. I just wish I had more control over it (in the dense cloud you can filter out any point you want).

You should update this experience with the new Agisoft version. I am still not sure If I should use Deph Maps or Dense cloud, in the end I try both which takes even more time xD

Hi! Thanks for the comparison! Do the photos from the Canon 77D need to be geotagged? I know that the drone photos are geotagged, but I'm not sure that the Canon 77D has a built-in GPS

Hello, I have a rather urgent question. I performed a "low" quality treatment (cloud, alignment...etc). If I want to switch to "high" quality, is there a way to reuse the work done in low quality to reduce the working time or do I have to redo everything from the beginning in high quality? Thanks.

sorry for late response... well, you can use only the depht maps that were calculated.. eventually you would need to redo only the "mesh part"

When I click workflow there is no gnerate dense cloud option. Do you know why that would be?

Say I just got a Nikon D800 and when I import the RAW images the resolution is read as some tiny resolution like 100x50 or something ridiculous like that and the actual resolution is 7360x4912. Any idea what would cause this? I'm thinking importing it into photoshop and exporting it as TIFF may fix it? I already removed the photos, but I'll try that later.

That is weird... Arent you uploading just the images thumbnails?? Dont know really... But try to do it, go through Photoshop just to check if everything is fine

@@CarlosFaustino Thanks for the response, I'll have to drag the photo's back off. I realized that I was using an F-Stop to small so none of the images will be usable anyway due to blurring around parts. With that being said they were around 50mbs each and I did check them by opening them and looking at them and there didn't seem to be anything wrong with them.

That is weird then... But anyway, check if it was just a glitch or if it continues that way, check for a trial on another software with the same dataset just to be sure

@@CarlosFaustino Ok so this worked for me. Maybe it's my cameras older .RAW format that it doesn't like Idk. What I did is opened it in photoshop and after I was done modifying the color settings on it I saved it as a DNG after that the photo loaded properly...you were right it was loading the actual thumbnail not the image. it was 160x120 in size.

next video is already being prepared but glass objects need to be covered or painted.. and glossy, eventually you can use a polarizer filter to cross polarization
