i always wanted a pair .I had the 3700s but these were a real step up.Hell i would get a pair today .Cd , usb, timecode .Stronger torque and greater accuracy and a solid build.

Dope! I also had a pair of 3700s back then and thought they were the best thing ever. You could still rock out with these today for sure.

Thanks for the advice, I think I might get these though because they're on the cheaper side compared to the 2000s. Anyway I don't really scratch (I own two Denon 1200s) I just use flanger, echos, and loops. I'm a versatile Dj but I mainly play dance,house, and some top 40 sprinkled on top.

I need your help. I purchased 2 Denon SC3900 but can't figure out how to set the mapping for Traktor Scratch PRO 2. I did the recommendation from Denon and followed the steps on the traktor set up video but I still have unsuccessful results.

I normally use Traktor and am looking to start with one SC3900 and try to map a button so I can toggle the unit between deck A & B in Traktor. Also, from what I've seen on the NI forum a rep says that you can only get audio from the Traktor box when using SC3900.

Do they only take disk and hard drive or can i use my laptop to?

Kool. I was using them on Hybrid Mode but I realized I needed the soundcard. Now What is the benefit of just using MIDI MODE? I downloaded the tsi. file from Denon. Can you use it as a turntable or just jog wheels with MIDI MODE?

I figure out what it was. I didn't realize I still needed a sound card to process the midi frequency. The midi USB control the Cue points but you still need the sound card to process the sound. I plugged in my Native Instruments audio 6 and it worked. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Can you make playlists on your engine iPad app? Also if I use my ipod music library and iCloud is enabled will the dennons still recognize the music and play it and will I still be able to see the music file on my iPad engine app?

I have the Serato app on my Macbook in case I am using someones Serato box. I don't own a Serato box. So you're saying is I can download the Serato app and use this device without Serato's audio interface?

How do these compare to the Pioneer's CDJ's- 2000? Which one do you honestly think is better and why?

I still have my 3700's but I recently got reacquainted with my sl1210mk5's ...but I love my 3700 ..

Does this have fast cd load times? And is there master tempo like in pioneer cdj have. Or is it chipmunks pitch :D

Kareem in vinyl mode OFF, is it the same as turntable motor off. I would like to know if you can scratch with the platter. It's not pressure sensitive, well at least I don't think it is. But is it possible to scratch without the platter rotating.

And to be clear can it be done while either a CD is playing or file from the usb. Basically can you use like a standard CDJ.
