Guys, Millie looks stunning. As we would say in Ireland, its class ! I am always amazed at how clever those Scandinavian's are, look at that bridge. Everything works, they have such wonderful social services, health systems, educational systems, infrastructure but.... yes, its expensive. The price of quality. How often do you clean the solar panels ? My late Dad passed on an ancient amber necklace that he found in Ireland when he was young, in ancient times all amber came from the Baltic region so it shows that our ancestors traded across Europe. You probably know but the way that they realised how amber was formed was by burning it, you can smell the pine forest/sap. I have to say, I share Lisa's enthusiasm about going Amber hunting, I would love to do something like that. Those skies when you were looking for water were like a painting. Isn't nature great. Safe travelling folks.

Thanks Ronan! Apparently, it's not as easy to find amber as what we made it sound. 😋 Problem is, if we get Lisa a UV light she'll be walking up and down every beach nonstop. Luckily, she doesn't like cold. Or darkness. 😂 I get up on the roof once a week to see what it looks like. The panels really only require cleaning if there was lots of dust in the air or if we parked under trees. It makes a bit of a difference to keep them clean, especially on days with very little sun.

Well, we haven't fully caught up on your last 6 months, but we have checked out the milli paint job & upgrades. Amaaaazing! 😂She looks fabulous. We also enjoyed the "team" feel in another video where you talked about your best upgrades... We're hanging out in the pouring rain in NZ, (at Christmas for heavens sake!!!) & very much enjoying our new maxxair deluxe where we can actually have fresh air coming in without the rain! 😂 All we need is some sun for the summer 1. Millie looks STUNNING! Another lovely video guys. Denmark looks so lovely and we will definitely find our way there..... at some point! We're static ourselves for a week or so - sat watching your travels outside our daughter's house! We say it every week, but you guys tell it how it is - we definitely mess around at parkups umming and ahhing, and we have drift drift blissfully away as we enjoy the slow pace this life can give you. We're still amazed at the contrast, this time last year life was super hectic, frantic and there was no time to pause and enjoy life. Our time in Scotland had us living our total dream - and we always use you guys as a reference point, so thank you for your ongoing, lovely films and sharing the actual reality of this wonderful life. Can't wait for that museum.......

Amber searching is not as easy as the "experts" claim it is. Been walking up and down beaches in Denmark for a week or so every year for the past 30 years of my life. Total amber count found is zero. Relax. Enjoy the peace and quiet. Most of Denmark is never going to be the tourist hotspot overcrowding. It is to expensive. People come here with either a specific purpose or no real purpose except to not stress about anything.

Thank you for your great presentation of our wonderfull country and in general a fantastic vlog! Amber IS hard to find even with the flourescent lights I still havent maneged to find any, albeit being a native living close to the beach.. If you are still in Denmark and come by Esbjerg, we have a world renowned gelato store I think Lisa would be thrilled about..(we also have tons of other interesting (and free) stuff to see and do but I agree with just taking things as they come). Thank you for your lovely comment ❤ Sadly we had to leave Denmark due to an engagement in Germany. It was really painful to leave as the weather was just AMAZING last week. Thanks for the tips, we have so much more to see of Denmark and we'll be back next summer for sure.

I love your van upgrade. A couple of questions ..... and I know answers can vary, but ....... on average, how many km's do you average per week? Does this vary from season to season? What about a leisurely month without worrying about Schengen? I'm trying to work out a budget for myself. Kind regards, Stuart (Australia)

Fuel can be the biggest cost by far and along with higher mileage comes higher maintenance cost. Since we started in July 2021 we have done 23 000 kms to date. That's an avg of 30km per day. We don't have the problem with Schengen which gives us the luxury of not rushing back and forth. But this is something you can manage but you will have to move a little faster. For example from Spain you have either a long drive and or ferry to get via Italy to the Western Balkans or you have to spend 3 months in Morocco. Tricky when you have to consider the seasons as well.

i don't know if you check comments or not, but I found some old videos of you guys in Kosovo, and it really interesting that in every video from Kosovo the comments were disabled I would like to know as why was that ?

Due to the sensitivity of the Kosovo / Serbia issue the videos received a lot of comments at the time which we had to moderate. We actually took the videos down for a while but decided to set them as public again but with comments disabled. We did not receive any comments directed at us personally but there was a negativity between commenters we didn't want. Hopefully this makes sense.

Sorry to ruin your day, but that water isnt salty enough for amber to float in it! (Yes i am a local). But amber that size IS quite rare, so it is probably flint anyway. The easy way to find out is with a knife- if you can scratch it, its amber.

😋 ah yes, thanks for that. It was pointed out to us by others as well. Apparently, some oceans / seas have higher density attributed to the temperature of the water, so from what we've heard amber might well float in 'some' sea water. But yes, definitely not the best way to test. You're breaking Lisa's heart by saying it's super difficult to find amber. Won't put her off from trying though 😂
