    It pains me to say because denis is my favorite and who introduced me to arm wrestling, But it may be time to retire and worry about his health. He already defeated the odds with the stroke or whatever he had years ago to come back and pull. He’s got nothing to prove at this point, But i think his prime is long gone.

    I regret to hear about a potential hip replacement surgery. I hope its not that kind. But if he just took the time to exercise his hips and spine and decompress with some inversion boots since he cant deadhang with his fucked up elbows, it should alleviate some of the problems and then he could do more specific strength work to not keep it as a recurring problem later on. Also just laying against hard surfaces and trying to get comfortable against them like with stone floors, pavement, or hardwood, tiles. Hell if you took a rock and just poked it into the hip, it can aleviate that pain with a different kind of pain that is more likely to get it to go away. it is to simulate somebody else massaging you except you get to apply the pressure of your own body weight against a rigid inanimate object. The rock is inorganic, and it cannot feel pain or fatigue. Compared to human hands, human hands will tire, and even if the hands could hold strong it could travel up somewhere else in the body and create a weakness of fatigue there instead. It is impractical to be serviced by humans sometimes where it can be much more inviting to be self sufficient in the activity of self preservation. The sport of arm wrestling has always been an unsustainable endeavor of specialization. Sometimes if you would just try to put some general exercise into your routine, it would make a substantial amount of difference in the way the body feels. Mostly for hips, you want to look at mobility with static and dynamic movements. But the method to massage any inflammation out of an area can put it into a more manageable state for you to exercise with it. In other words, sometimes you need something easier to do before you do something that takes more dedication and difficulty. Because it helps bring up the quality of the work you put in, if the body is set up to be in less of a state of dysfunction for you to pursue any sort of training effect. And if only temporary, it would be enough if you are consistent and tenacious in your pursuit. The hips hate to stay stagnant. Airplane flights are probably the worst thing. Sitting inside cars all the time, sitting at home. It can be destructive when you get it in your head you need to be lazy all the time like larratt. Recovery is not always meant to be prioritized in life as the body is able to be much more resilient than we give it credit for. If dennis went on hikes, there would be plenty of circulation and movement for the hip joint to be healthy. Though the issue may also be the constriction of feet, the toes of the feet. If your hands are wider than any other humans, it would be no surprise if your feet were wider too. They probably dont make shoes wide enough for him, consider walking barefeet more of the time or something primitive to keep the soles from getting too ashy. Its also a strange phenomenon, to sleep naked. As well as to sleep on solid ground. And to stretch or exercise naked. Something about there not being fabric against the skin is just a different feeling for the body. If you can stretch at night in your own privacy while naked, it would be the best thing. Just be wary of bugs and keep your bedding clean. 😁

    That's not really the definition of a man. If you agree to a fight, and just before the fight you realise you're not strong enough, you go and lose like a man. No excuses. If athletes cancelled and postponed every time they thought they might not be strong enough to win, we would have almost no fights. This is ridiculous!

  • @Armfan17

    @Armfan17

    The difference is that Denis has a serious injury. The main reason is he cancelled it because of extreme hip pain which did not allow him to go sideways. And doctors for a long time advised him to postpone the fight. Go hear what Denis says, not the video titles.
