Thank you! We are glad you like it!
There are concerns about the mounting location of the D3 on the upper crash bar. The concern being it is a contact point and will be broken in a fall.
Looks awesome, Will the upper crash light bar work with Happy Trails crash bars since they both install in the same side bolt?
@DENALIElectronics

We have not tested the light mount with Happy Trails products, but at the minimum, a longer bolt will be needed.
Why do you only show installing with a vehicle specific harness? Make a video showing how you wire in the universal harness.

We made this video to show how to install the plug and play harness and DialDim on the new KLR650. To see details of the universal DialDim, check out this video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/o3WAr6eDfL2cqNY.html The universal harness is installed exactly the same as this, instead of using the plug-and-play harness, you tap each lead with the included posi-taps.
Ordered the T3 kit for the rear of my KLR, hoping it comes off backorder soon but I’m planning my next purchase, I have the Adventure model so it has factory fog lights which are great but the the headlight/fog combo is good for 80-100 yards in my opinion, I would like more light for the dark 2 lane highways we have here in south Ms, is it possible to modify the lower auxiliary light bracket to work with the D7 lights?

The D7s don't fit with the lower mount, there is fair amount of interference with the fork and fairing. If you are looking for more light, the D3 Driving Lights are up to the task. You could possibly modify the lower mount to fit D7s but we can't recommend it or suggest it.
something for Aprilia Tuareg 660?

We do not have anything lined up just yet, but I will pass on your suggestion!
Hi man :D Great video !!! Did you print those mounts for D3s on 3D printer or?

Original test designs were printed on the 3d printer, but production mounts are manufactured: denalielectronics.com/products/upper-driving-light-mount-kawasaki-klr-650-gen3?rq=gc_motorcycle~yr_2022~mk_kawasaki~md_klr650
Are you able to use an after market switch with the CanSmart. I want to be able to use the dialdim dial in conjunction with the cansmart but idk how.
@DENALIElectronics
Жыл бұрын
The beauty of the CANsmart is that you are able to use OEM controls without cluttering up the bars. You can run the DialDim to control the two driving light sets and the CANsmart to control everything else. We have a video coming out on 9/9 showing the CANsmart used in conjunction with the DialDim on a KTM 1290. The biggest benefit of running the DialDim is the ability to see if your lights are on and at what power during the day.
Does it work with all of your lights? Or are only some dimmable?
@DENALIElectronics
Жыл бұрын
All DENALI 2.0 lights are 3-wire dimmable. Our older lights (5+ years old) will only work as on/off.
I still don't see the price and upper crash bar light mount on your website. I bought a 2022 Kawasaki KLR 650 Pear Sand, and would love to buy your crash bar light mount.

Agreed! This is one of our favorite products right now!
That is an awesome product. Great flexibility, many options and functionalities. But just does not match with the philisophy of klr650. Simplicity! Probably Bmw GS, Honda AT or Ducati MS owners will love it but for a light, simple, hop-on-and-ride type adv bike like Klr, this might be too over engineered. Kind regards.

You should give it a try, the DialDim is extremely simple to operate and it really cleans up the wiring for a couple of light sets instead of running numerous harnesses.
This is not a "how to" video. Rather a brief overview.

Most of our customers simply ask to see the end points of an install and we try to be brief if possible. I will pass on your feedback to our video team.
Would be nice. Wish I had an extra $1500

Lights, standard wiring, and mounts start at $410 for the KLR650. Even without the DialDim, any lighting upgrade over stock will be a massive improvement. denalielectronics.com/apps/cart-loader?cff_crt=a05a768242e4624e43ee0f8d57620ffd_1676301805869

@@DENALIElectronics oh I have no doubt. But how much is the entire kit as shown in the video? I am a KLR rider. Not a BMW rider 😄
No way I'm jacking around with the factory wiring on my brand new bike.unless it comes from Kawasaki it won't be on my bike.
@DENALIElectronics

The beautiful part about our bike-specific DialDim controller and harness is that it doesn't modify your Kawasaki in any way. The entire kit can be added and removed without changing anything on the stock bike.
